They may want him to get game time. None last week and And an emergency in Bris means no game again.

Depends where you judge it bossdog. The countries mentioned are hardly the peak of the justice system. What it points out is how poor the previous penalties were.

Hope you are right we cannot afford another early pick to amount to zip.

Hmm seems you are fired up about this Mr. Leg. Cannot share your enthusiasm for the poor hardly done by boys. Cheats belong in other places not the Aussie teams. If the penalties were a bit high so be it others might think more in the future.

You can never tell what is really going on with selection steve. Just look at Tyson the last two weeks, the reasons given for his non selection last week have suddenly been ignored. Why is he being left out? who knows and you will never get the real reason. I have a feeling he is out of favour but that is just a gut feeling I have no solid evidence. Injury has ruined his stay so far at the MFC I have little confidence that will change and as you say a no.3 pick !

I think what has happened dc is they have paid the price for all the sins of the Aussie team over the last decade. All the bulling and bad sportsmanship of the last decade has come out in these penalities. For a decade or more the cricket board have been trying for better behaviour and now was their chance to drive home the fact better behaviour is needed. Why else would you take out the two best batsman for potentially ever? Warner will never play for Australia again, Smith may but after a year off and in his mental state will he ever be as good? All three will carry the cheating label till the day they die and they will carry it for all the cricket cheats internationally who got away with wet tram ticket penalities. The up side? Perhaps players in the future will consider what happened here and refrain from cheating I cannot see any other as we are going to be the easy beats internationally for the next few years. I am not happy about that but cheating and bulling by the Australian team must stop.
  8. With the exception of about five years since 1964 I have always viewed my membership as a charitable donation Dof. Due to a number of factors I will only get to 5- 6 games this year so I hope the charity lives on.
  9. I have never had more than the odd small inconvenience from the MFC however I can see why people would get peed off . If I were an interstate supporter I am not sure I would bother being a member after the last dozen years, just buy GA on the day the circus comes to town.
  10. I can see GA tickets being bought on Saturday afternoon DD. perhaps now with all the new sponsors on board we might be able to have enough staff however I suspect it is all done by outside contractors who give it just enough effort. Extra effort is not covered in the contract.
  11. No a pollie would have used 50 and three words we would not have heard before.
  12. 12 letters when three were needed SWYL.

Gawn always showed he could cut it at senior level he just did not show the required application. Weid will never be a Hawkins he just does not have the size or will have IMO.

Good point. I actually think we can put away the glasses. If you are struggling to look good in the vfl in your third year you are in real trouble.

It is hard to be a whipping boy if you don't play Mr. Shadow
  17. Sadly yes Ernest the old boys club is showing no signs of any cracks.

Not sure I agree with your last line Mr. leg. He did not show that in 2017. Also in today's AFL I am not sure a Ruckman can be that sort of player. I think T Mac has the potential. He did it in that game in WA against the Eagles.

Well I see Barnaby has finally been pushed kicking and screaming form his spot. There is usually an up side to every situation, it should be good practise for him in a few months time he will know how is new child feels.
  22. Oh cheer up Cassiew you are a member of the greatest team in the competition when we beat the Cats in the first game you won't remember the letter. A small item in our 2018 year.
  23. That last line probably covers the feeling of 40 000 others RB

I think at the time Barnaby he was absorbed by one item dc. i reckon he is now hearing the echo loud and clear.
