Casey Demons v Northern Blues - Round 18
Having seen both a number of times over the last two year imo they are not VFL standard let alone AFL. Every week the Casey team play to a losing ruck. If it were up to me both would be gone by the time the 2019 season rolls around.

There is a role for Bugg
Not worrying at all Bbo I am just in stunned amazement at the thought patterns of some. My free Pinot supply has run out might be time for a brotherly love visit!

A not to well thought out punch in 2017 might not be helping either.

Daisy: AFLW's a Gimmicky Tournament
I heard him on 3aw this morning and on this and two other subjects he clear demonstrated why he is the worst CEO of the AFL in my memory. - could not bring himself to say the penalty of 3 weeks in a case of a player getting king hit behind play ( broken jaw and concussion) by a guy on parole for assault was a low penalty. - would not be going to see the trial rule changes game between Coburg and Werribee, he has people for that!

There is a role for Bugg
The bloke that got in before him has not played a senior game in 18 months, plays a few games at Casey and is into the side in the spot that should be a shoe in for Bugg. Hard to see him getting another game.

There is a role for Bugg
Hmm so you think Bugg is close to a group consisting of Swan, Thomas and Franklin. I don't think so. He is imo one of those players who is a good VFL talent who struggles at senior level. Just not good enough for senior level, poor kick for goal and dubious temperament. He needs a miracle in August to be around in 2018, that miracle might just be Balic bailing.

There is a role for Bugg
We are taking about footballers here not the average joe blow doing normal work. A footballers life is from approx. 14 to 30 for the majority by the time you are 25 you are 70% of the way through your life as a footballer. Did I change Between 55 and 70 ? Certainly did not got better. I have seldom seen footballers who are poor kicks for goal change. It would seem that by 25 the problems are so ingrained they cannot change. On top of all that Bugg is a good VFL player and a average AFl player forward on his good days who cannot kick for goal. He will not take us to a GF so lets move on and get someone who can. Sad for Mr. Bugg but that is modern AFL football in the 21st century.

By this stage in his career he will not change and so it is good bye for me in approx 8 weeks time.

No booze ban
I would not have thought so Wiseblood. I can tell you from experience over the last decade and a half it sure helps my recovery from the MFC.

I have a few mates who are Tigers members they say you have to have a reserved seat or stay home and watch the TV. I have been a member for most of the last 50 years however when the MFC membership exceeds 50k I will only by a 3 - 5 membership and only go to the games against interstate teams. It is just too hard at any game against Tigers , Collingwood or Essendon.
