Agree RR we have enough nice boys to start our own Tabernacle Choir God deliver us a fit narsty pricks who just want to win at all costs in the next draft
-
And who gives a rats arse about them BB? They are parasites on a good day
-
If we continue the form of the first three games there would not be one person who could suggest we were tanking.

I have had time for a little more consideration on this PSD. Perhaps it might be better if I live longer and the Dees dont win one till 2032 You know I have given up on winning one in my life time. I would now be happy to have a side that can finish from 8 to 10Th and does not get belted every other week. Is that asking too much?

Could have produced less than the DB era?

Should have not replied FT I thought it was a good joke

No more comments from players .....please

So does that mean they will lose by 10 or 15 goals this week? Having said that the MFC better use Jones for all media statements at least he has proved he is up to the job. -
Oh no wyl Looks like I will not see no.13 Better than average chance I will be dead by 2022
-
Plus he got knocked out and suspended Top of the trade list I reckon!!!!

You are right RR I am not a doctor or a good news perveyor for the MFC. My opinion and that is all it is happens to be based on what generally happens. How often do we see estimates by the MFc or football industry in general that are way out? How often does 4 weeks become 6 or 8 or 3 months? Quite often from my observation. The MFC have a habit of painting the picture at its brighest so not to disappoint the members. Any thing reported on the MFC website concerning injuries i take with a grain of salt Right now we do not need more bad news than necessary so Brad is 4 weeks. I think it will be longer, time will tell Your comment about frost bite is just a smart cheap shot but go ahead i have a thick skin.
-
Well we have got the start perfect BB Hope the rest is correct and works as well.
-
So far HR you are right on the money. Look forward to your thoughts after round15

Brad has been a very good servant of the MFC However he is now past performing at AFL level on more than an average basis. He was average in 2011 and has dropped to poor this year to the point he was dropped to Casey. He now has a finger injury that will keep him out for min. 4 weeks I still think it will be closer to 8. Those are the facts it has nothing to do with glasses full, half full or empty. Unfortunately Brad has reached the twilight of his career from here on he will be a bit player at best. Take this to the bank he will not be playing for the MFC in 2013.

The difference is that they have always had a much large base than the Dees and their lack of success over the last 20 years is balanced by wonderful periods in the 60's and 70's The big fear for the Dees is the years of pain could be longer than 3 years I think 5 -6 is more likely -
While it is unfortunate monoccular it is classic chicken and egg. The nett result is he was a bust. Never played a game end of story
-
I have a horrible feeling we may have seen the last of Brad Green. Sure he will get another game before the end of the year as a parting gift and he should. But 4 weeks after an operation on his finger at his age? The way these things go for guys at the MFc This could easily be 8. That does not leave many games till the end of the year. I really hope I am am wrong this year has been sad enough already

I am not disagreeing with you Range Rover. I was just making the observation that club web sites are basically propaganda machines. Take most of what they saw with a grain of salt.

What more is there left to say! -
RR not sure the above means much. The MFC web site does not show the director who's main responsiblity is the football department. however as you suggest Spin

We said that in 2007, 2008 and 2009 FYD and now 2012. The more things change the more they stay the same. its a long way to the top to rock and roll -
bing I think you are looking for excuses. We had injuries in 2010 and 2011 That I remember we seldom if ever had all our best players on the field. If you were to take a survey of all comentators at present the popular opinion would be that we have a poor list. We finished 12th in 2010, same in 2011 and god knows were this year 16 - 18 looks possible. For the last three years we have been in the bottom third of the ladder. Similar cattle similar results for mine. Time to admit it mate we have a poor playing group
-
If you lose your dreams what do you have left? Dream on BM it is far better than reality. Wish I could have that same dream
-
All through the summer I kept tempering people's expectations with the line "but they are the same basic cattle as 2011" Unfortunately you are correct. On present form another 186 is as close as 5th May

Funnily I had not thought of it at all till this thread emerged. I supposed that does make me slow. I still cannot bring myself to think about it at present. I think deep down i still have a tiny thread of hope that we will improve before the end of August. It is 1 Um thick at present -
Billy i had the opposite feeling that it was Neeld who was hot for this guy.
