I was just having a small joke dee-luded. I think the last 3 weeks have been hard to take for all of us and we are all getting very edgy. Lets all relax a little. PS Hope you can see the joke. Tell if you cannot I will try harder next time

For the first time this year that side looks a good one to me. Seems to have the people in the positions they play best well most of them. and of course who knows how they will line up. If they all played as well as we have seen them play at times in the past look out. And if I had not seen the last 6 weeks i would think we have a good chance against the dogs. But alas even in my dreams I see the dogs winning easily.

De-luded I cannot agree with you in two areas In my 50+ years of playing and watching football I have concluded that frightened players never improve. Bennell will never change, he will always be that way. Blease is IMO a one trick pony, gets the ball and dashes down field. might be ok at VFL level but from what i can see he has no other tricks and his kicking is poor. We need to drop 5- 6 from our list at the end of 2012. Bennell is on top of my list and Blease is a maybe based on how he goes over the next 16 weeks.

Robbie you are correct but what are the chances? The majority of them were poor for most of 2011 and are now a year older and the same form line continues. While I would like players like Green and Davey to produce 2010 form IMO it is not going to happen. We have to accept that there is a number of years in bottom half dozen spots ahead of us I hate to admit it as i am running out of time but that unfortunately is the sad truth.

I am hanging out for a return to the Fuchsias Might write to CS about that. Fushsias fits better with our style of play and our jumper colours over the last few years

Yes RR the scoreboard has a habit of making all the conjecture pointless.

Batters I get the feeling that there is not a lot wrong with anything at the MFC other than one thing. The playing group we have is simply not good enough. We all want there to be something else wrong and while some of the other things are not perfect It all gets back to the fact we are simply not good enough. The score board has been telling us that for most of 2011 and now the first three games straight in 2012. We do not have the players!

WE recruited the kid, then upgraded him from the rookie list. He has put in some good games at Casey We have lost the first three games by an average 10 goals Been belted in the mid field every week. Why hell would we not play him this week. What are we waiting for?

Right at the moment I do not think there are too many to replace him with at Casey. He will play quite a bit this year IMO for two reasons - Who else is there that is not injured - he has 41 games on his contract to run Hope to god he does come good he will be a very expensive Casey player otherwise

Interesting 8 of that team of 22 will not be there on sunday and a couple of others are very doubtful. As hard as I try I cannot see the result being much different

Funny bing181 that you missed the next line which said "God deliver us a fit narsty pricks who just want to win at all costs in the next draft" who just want to win at all cost is the important part, not too many of them around at the Dees. As well not all of what you describe is true, does being too lazy to attend a meeting make you a bad nasty type? I doubt it just makes you lazy and you do not have the win at all costs attitude.
