JR I won't yell at you But I do share the sentiment. We are irrelevant in 2012 and have been since the first couple of games. 2013 will be similar, any one that thinks with our list we will win more than a hand full of games next year is ignoring reality. It is time that a number of people involved with the management of MFC either stood down or were asked to leave. Over the last 4 years they have bought us to this point. We are the laughing stock of the league. Drastic situations deserve drastic action.

I think you have got it spot on Ben-Hur The list is crap Like you I have no idea if Neeld is good or not. But it is not hard to see that we have a large number of average players with Average skill. And in my view they are not all the older guys. A number of our early draft picks look average to me

Fitz it is mate Cook is struggling to be a VFL player He still looks and plays like a skinny kid who has just been drafted. Having said that we are playing the kids this week and we are scraping the bottom of the barrel so who knows. And like a quite a lot Dees supporters I am struggling to stay interested in the remaining games

Interesting I spend Saturday watching Uni Blacks in Amos . They won again on top and 1 game clear. Had fun with a couple of mates. Makes me realise you can go to the footy and have a good time. Finals football coming I think this is my spot for the next few weeks. Heard the expected score from the dome of death and my reaction was oh hum what is new. Spent yesterday baby sitting my GD. So all in all a good weekend. I doubt I will go on the weekend even if it is GCS I have got to the point of who cares anymore with the Dees.

I never got drafted WJ and as a result never went . Never marched to stop the war But I have bad memories of those days. Friends who suffered. And the Dees were crap the whole time. But I did meet my wife so not a total wash out.

My belief is the min. is 2 years but can be 3 or any length EG. Scully took a two deal and Trengrove three and they were drafted together.

TP there are a couple of things that have occured to me. - The people that picked Cook are mostly all gone from the club. the current FD had no hand in choosing him. Why would they have a commitment to a "project" play from the past FD? From the little info that I have he just does not look like a "neeld type" - Why was he only given a 2 year deal? or did he only want 2 years? The vast majority of first round picks would usually be offered 3 years deals. Why only 2 if he was a " project" player ( I hate that word ) surely the longer the better. The last first round draft pick who wanted only two years never intended to stay. Just wondering what other people ( with the exception of a couple ) think
