Admirable Jaded but I think you live in an ideal world. If it was Lawrence would we be going to this trouble?
-
Fortunately for all concerned rpfc it is not up to me, other people have to follow this through to the end. However it is already too hard for me. I seriously doubt we will every see LJ on the ground again. Just too many problems now. Just too much maintenance required for me.

Yes

You are not Robinson Crusoe mate There are lot feeling exactly the same way

Here is something to increase the negativity Redleg. Why has a certain high placed executive at the MFC not had his contract extended? Could it be that they are waiting on the out come of the inquiry? He is one of the few left from that period. A directive to tank can only come from a couple of places The Coach and almost all of the FD from that time are gone. Only two left near to the top that I can see I have a gut feel that said person is going to get it in the neck.

Every day must be a such splendid experience for you

Disingenuous to say the least. A little grace occasionally would not kill you

I wish I could be as positive as you DC. Just looks like an ever increasing downward spiral to me.

My wife keeps telling me the joke is on me BB She may well be right. In the end BB I am welded on so I find humour stops me loosing it. What choice do I have?

Whatever gets you through PaulRB I find Single Malt works well most Saturday nights And a little humour helps as well

Easy for me Carlton I came from up Bendigo way and we were in Carlton"s zone. Played junior football with Rod Ashmans older brother. Always had a soft spot for Blues, was at the 1970 GF when the Blues got up against The pies JEZZA you beauty. If the Dees fell over tomorrow I would have trouble picking between the Blues and Hawks.

Approx 3 months ago I wrote on one thread that I thought we had seen the last of LJ Sadly that would now seem to be the case. If as the Age reports he went to Adelaide without telling the club then the future does in deed look bleak. I expect that the MFC will support him through the court case etc. to do otherwise would be a very poor look. However for me LJ is now too hard. This is a Football club that is fighting for its survival over the next couple of years. Clearly to me that future does not include LJ. He is now out of my expectations for 2013. Time to fill the spot with someone who's main focus if Playing AFL at a high level. I am glad I saw some great moments from LJ. All over now, time to move on.

I think you are wanting the first two items to be true. First he has a GF medal already and a big chance for another this year. But lets not get confused here the only reason he is considering the move from the Pies is Money and a lot more. If he then looks at the offers and for the sake of the discussion lets say the MFC and Carlton money offer is similar. Which team would you go to. Would not be a hard decision for Me. -

Hi Dreamer it is nice to know you! -
The only type of player I want at the Dees is one that can earn his spot every week and kick goals as a forward. The rest does not come into my view. I do not care if he kicks his dog, does not stand up for ladies on the train, yells at the boot studder, does not wear clean undies or smokes weed on his holidays. He does not seem to be hurting the Eagles progression to a GF at the moment. I Just want a footballer to take us up the ladder.

I have always thought Carlton are in the pole position and nothing has happened to change my view. Will get as much as we offer from Carlton who are desperate for a big forward. Chance to play finals football and a possible GF in the next three years. Vs no chance of a GF in the length of his contract at the Dees and in the first three years there will be far more losses than wins. It is Carlton for me. -

I agree with you Nasher it seems to me that Casey get the worse side of this deal. This will be the third year on end they will finish the season high on the ladder and then be denied MFC players and go out in straight sets.
