Five years still concerns me Dr. Some times players drop of quickly as they approach 30 EG Davey and Moloney

Opel is the European arm of General Motors. when GM faced oblivion a few years back Opel was on the market. However with the GM turn around they are still part of GM. Opel have been sold in Australia under the Holden name for 30 years. The original Commodore was an Opel design. since then Holden have sold the Astra and Barina in Australia these were Opel renamed Holden imports. In the last few years Holden have moved from Opel small cars to GM Korean ( Formerly Daewoo ) cars to replace the Astra and Barina. Now Opel are going to sell their vehicles in Australia as a separate company to Holden. It is a large company in Europe. Sorry if this is boring you all but that is a brief description of OPEL

I don't believe he is worth 5 years. The guy is a seriously good player but five years is a very long time. I don't blame the Pies for saying No! I still find it hard to believe he will - leave the Pies - end up at the MFC.

Quite obviously you have a better opinion of our list than I do. Right now we are close to where we started in 2008 I struggle to find more than five that are GF quality. I know we have another four years to recruit under your time frame but that means we have to find five very good players PA between now and 2016. Just think it is to tall order in that time frame. I hope you are right but I just do not see it.

Do you think we will live long enough to see a strong team Crawf52? ( notice I did not say win a flag ) Some weekends I seriously doubt it but I intend to be around a while yet so who knows. The only problem is the last recorded miracle was by MM 100 years ago. Is that an omen?

If the worst should happen UH I expect the MFC to attack everyone and ever thing in sight. Go for every throat in view. At that point what would we have to lose. If we are going down lets take the ship with us. Still it probably will not happen so lets cross that bridge when we get to it.

Me too I was not a fan earlier in the year and wondered why on earth we picked him up. But he has proved me wrong. IMO he is worth a two year deal, don't believe he would cost the earth either.

I have been waiting just as long Crawf52 believe me when I say I am happy you can be positive Unfortunately after all these years and particulary the last six I am now firmly in the "believe it when it happens Club" I am now cheerful but expect little. I find that is the only way to support the MFC The alternative is to have your guts chewed out every year. Now when the occasional win happens I enjoy it. PS I am very confident I have not been on your "positive Thread" Don't want to rain on your parade. I need you all to sign up in 2013
