  1. It ain’t over until the fat ladies go down swinging.
  2. Not how I feel but sums up the train wreck that is our season
  3. Brisbane like us also got too many players sucked into the contests and leaving a GWS player to get free over the back in their virtually empty forward line with a couple of minutes to go was very callow. Back line should have been packed solid. Enjoyed Stefan Martin’s game though. Monstered the Mummy.
  4. If it were a boxing match it would be a KO punch. Schofield was down for at least the full 10 count. Low impact is a joke.
  5. So Frost is a turnover merchant. Sadly we have a conga line of the same led by our hopeless captains. At least he has some upsides that can be worked on. Turnovers are a team disease caused by lack of confidence and inane leadership.
  6. Well the NFL cannot function without artificial enhancement. Those freaks that play American team sports are not regular humans.
  7. Kelvin Templeton and Mitch Clark to name a couple more. Peter Moore gave us the the aura of success like of a gilded pig in a pig sty.
  8. If the Hawks rate him then he must have some value that they can exploit that we miss and some on here don’t wont to respect. Those that way overate the likes of Jones and Viney more like it.
  9. I think it was his brother Fly’n Ryan who took that mark.
  10. A willy can always get a guy in trouble more ways than one.
  11. What diabolical price will we have to pay? Collingwood always try to bleed us dry and leave the leeches on just in case there is a little more blood left.
  12. Well that increases the chances of Junior leaving for “family reasons”.
  13. Sadly that puts him on a par with the rest of our forwards.
  14. Found our premiership clock, it goes backwards
  15. Currently broken. The hands are missing, the springs are loose, the cogs are worn, the glass is cracked and the battery is flat. The alarm still works. If it can be fixed who knows?
  16. The pies unlike us have shown they can be decimated by injuries and still play good footy. They are a switched on “one for all and all for one” side and not one led by two headless chooks.
  17. Tex is dynamic but too hot headed and selfish to be a measured leader. Jones plays in his own bubble. Both never developed as effective leaders and in the job too long.
  18. I have always thought something odd has been happening with the MFC even since Roos came in. Though we improved under Roos from a very low bar it still was modest improvement with some inexplicably bad performances and woeful player language at key moments during his tenure. Very little cultural change was evident. The capitulation against Geelong in Roos final game was very telling too me. A profound slap in the face if there ever was one. Goodwin now seems to be getting some of the same. The players just don’t give a faaark and there still appears a disconnect between players and officialdom. The current movement of key personnel and Goodwin’s fragility ATM makes me believe many outstanding issues from the Schwab days had been swept under the carpet and not addressed properly. Why did PJ resign prematurely? Whether the changes are ruthless enough to work out or not remains to be seen.
  19. Will you seek to replace your winder? I can recommend a good repairer.
  20. Will his son follow him?
