  1. Swans not much better. We lost 17 of the past 23 games against them including the 2022 QF and only 5 wins plus one draw.
  2. The Demons gave Fagan his break into big time footy.
  3. Scott started with a club that was well run, wealthy, highly successful and benefiting from AFL and State Government largess. Goodwin had to start with a club that was still crawling out of the bottom of the swamp after being on life support for the previous decade.
  4. He should look for career with the WWE.
  5. Melksham’s field kicking is amongst the best in the league. Not so his set goal kicking unless he takes shots from ridiculous angles.
  6. We would have had to put up with at least another 3 seasons of Hogan being a distraction hoping he would come good. His behaviour in his last game for us was a disgrace. He failed worse at Freo after he left considering the huge effort and resources they threw at him and the go home factor was supposed to make him happy. He was never going to be any good until he shed his internal demons and grew up.
  7. And too much Oliver oil.
  8. Is he the last of the suspended Bomber drug scandal players still playing?
  9. Jack Steven had more than a handful of great seasons. He was a brilliant powerhouse midfield player not too dissimilar to Clayton Oliver. His decline was rapid.
  10. His performance in the last quarter against GWS on Saturday was excellent. Was a prime mover in the Swans comeback with some brilliant plays and serious grunt work around the ground.
  11. The AFLPA might answer that question. What’s their game? If it does hypothetically go to grievance, the AFL and certainly the club would not want this to set a precedent. It’s uncharted territory.
  12. There will be monetary compensation if does happen.
  13. AFLPA trying to open up a pathway to get Petracca out of the club and to elsewhere? I could see a grievance case coming on. Which will be settled out of court so to speak in Petracca’s favour.
  14. We know he doesn’t kick too many goals but……bang, bang, bang!
  15. As long as its hands off [censored] before put on socks.
  16. I can sympathise with Tracc to a certain extent. A couple of decades ago I had a serious health issue leaving me unable to work for many months. I had disliked my well paying job and being absent from work persuaded me to leave my employment and try somewhere else. Having issues dealing with recovery and the thought of returning to that hated job was too much to bear. I do see some similarity to the Tracc issue and it demonstrates to me that he really doesn’t care much for us much, would rather be somewhere else and the situation is not likely to change. I just cannot see everyone being all luvvy duvvy and pretending all is fine next season. The cure for hating your job is to move on.
  17. I saw Robbie once in my local milk bar. Looked too skinny to be a footballer.
  18. On the subject of media pile on, back in the old Herald and Weekly Times days their chief football writer was the legendary Alf Brown. Only he was privileged enough to have his own office in the sports department. One day a copy boy took offence to an article Alf wrote about a player whose name now escapes me. On a weekend when the office building was empty he went in there and had a [censored] inside the drawer of Alf’s desk.
  19. We need younger players with solid experience but with little or static improvement since 2021/22 to step up to the next level. They include, Sparrow, Chandler, Bowey, McVee and VDR. We need the chop out ruckman problem settled as it’s been stuffing up our key forward set up.
  20. He needs one of these inserted for the next 12 months. We need to know which clubs he visits.
  21. I wouldn’t be too worried. AI soon will be able to delete him from the 2021 premiership video. We will just see the ball that formally was in his hands do amazing things by itself.
  22. What superficially read like a statement from Tracc that he wasn’t going anywhere kind of now looks like his status within the club is in a kind of holding pattern at least till the end of the finals and draft window. All it has done is placate fans somewhat and dulled the media scrutiny. If nothing happens and he stays this thread could go to over a a couple of thousand pages by this time next season.
  23. I as many others don’t have much of an idea of the inner machinations of leadership at the club. We hear snippets here and there about so and so. Max has been great. I’d leave to the club to decide and forgo an opinion.
