Hawks are coming in their pants. I bet they run out of jizz come finals.

If any changes are to be made they should be gradual. 10 interchanges a quarter would be a good start and if it doesn't' work them expand on it. Radical changes implemented too quickly will make a mockery of the game. Best to devolve the game back to something less riotous without overreaction.

I believe reducing the interchange rotations to 10 or 15 a quarter would be a good start.

There are a lot of halfwits in the workforce. Every industry has them.

By the time the tree has played 50 games it wil be big, strong and dominating in the air. Just needs to build experience.

THE SAGA CONTINUES - WADA APPEALS

Might suit the AFL to a tee. -

If the soccer missionaries want to convert us heathens they should at least play three man forward lines and second rate goal keepers. -

If we all pray together in unison, the good lord will deliver the A grade midfielder for sure. -

I thought the only kosher religion allowed to be discussed here is football. -

No doubt Danks will turn up for the hearing of his appeal unless he suddenly gets ill the day before and asks for deferment. -

I just hope there is still a sniff to get Dangermoose. -
Losing any game is far more ugly than the ugliest win. I take an ugly win everytime and the more the better. That is our lot at the moment.

Yeah, the difference between Jonathan Brown and Matthew Richardson. Who would you choose? I want to see him educated right. He is our biggest player hopeful for decades.

Just relieved we got the four points. Looking forward to a revenge match next week against the saints. Despite last week we have been reasonable in the past month or so and hopefully finishing the season off on a high.

Yes, Hird is a good blackmailer and despite his worries still has a lot of influence and power. Just like current realpolitik. Make war against the weak but avoid all all cost warring against real adversaries especially the ones with nuclear weapons. Whatever Hird has got against the AFL is, it scares the daylights out of them for sure.

Shrinks make their money treating sick people. So I guess he is earning his money right now. Not making much progress on eradicting "old mentalities" though.

Jokes or no jokes, there was dodgy stuff going on here. All was settled inhouse. Is it necessary to bring up it up again?

The lions have been playing reasonable footy recently without cashing in. Due for a win and we are the kind of team that might give them one due to our lack of resistance to a challenge.
-
But we let them shagg us in the third quarter. That's where fairdinkum footy is won.
-
That is a good trade.

As in "snow job" ?

Or else supporters will be very cross again.

It's been a bloody week

Rioli also has the luxury of elite midfield delivery and mates delivering forward line pressure. If he played for us he might end up like Howe with only an occasional highlight reel cameo every other game.

How did you end up following the Mighty Dees?
John Crow Batty replied to Frosty Demon's topic in Melbourne Demons
We moved to Collingwood when I was about five and knew nothing of footy at that stage. The local toughs in my street and school all followed Collingwood of course. I hated them and deliberately chose Melbourne who were the arch enemy to follow. Collingwood was a vicious and brutal place at the time. Weekly fights was normal behaviour for kids. Barassi was my favourite player. This was reinforced later when we moved to East Melbourne and lived opposite the MCG. After the 64 GF I was standing on our fence waving a flogger and watching all the fans go past after the game. A jubilant drunk Melbourne supporter gave me and my brother 2 pound notes each as he staggered past. That was a fortune at the time for any kid. In hindsight I should have given him the money back. My brother had more sense and followed Geelong. His patience was rewarded eventually.
