  1. The much touted Schwabian Era Melbourne Brotherhood turned out to be a great fraud. Nev Jetta the one most least likely out of that lot is the only one to make it.
  2. Sounds like you were very much a victim of Demonland group think at the time.
  3. For anyone troubled with making a sincere confession, here is are 10 remedies that will help. http://www.hemorrhoidexpert.org/10-best-creams-haemorrhoids-piles
  4. I wonder how many flags we missed out on celebrating?
  5. I confess to voting for the Hawthorn merger. Since then I have come to the realisation I must have been the only one who voted for it. The other successful votes must have been planted. No one else has come forward and admitted this cardinal sin as far as I am aware.
  6. Yes in jest. But could be the group flagellation target for satisfaction purposes ATM in these slow times. Is he also posting as "Devil in the Detail" or is this someone else? I did think he was "The Devil Inside" too.
  7. Not yet, still a while before the draft. Let the group flagellation continue. Cleansing for the soul.
  8. Yes that was the final against Carlton. I was referring to the regular season. I went to most games that season and it was infuriating to watch us lose games we should have won.
  9. That figure lies. We lost 5 games when we led at half time. We lost 10 for the season. We lost every game we trailed at half time. Not one come from behind win. Our forward line was awesome and free scoring but let down by conceding too many cheap goals to the opposition at crucial times. Defensive structures were poor when we were not completely dominating. We should have been at least 17/5 minimum instead of 12/10. A defining feature of the entire Balme era.
  10. I used to be in a gang that did some shocking things in the 70's best not repeated. Not so much street fighting but all sorts of crime. None of us ever got caught. Never getting caught meant we stayed out of the justice system. The leader is now a pious church goer whilst another is a senior policeman.
  11. The forward talent of 94 was offset by our Swiss cheese defence.
  12. Great natural athlete but lacks a footy brain and softer than Howe was. No more softcocks please.
  13. It may be an interesting scenario if he gets the second year blues.
  14. What does Delisted Free Agents meam? Done FA? Our list is already maxed out with usable recycled players and spuds on their last hurrah.
  15. That's his big problem. Small forward with little impact on scoreboard. All the best small forwards make the best of limited opportunities because that's the nature of their role. Ask Rioli, Ballantyne, Walters and Co. It's a tough position to play effectively.
  16. The correct term is meshugana.
  17. 人谁站在山上,张着嘴等待很长一段时间的烤鸭在下降。孔子
  18. 即使是在杀男人,遵守礼仪规则
  19. I'm sick of all this talk from newbie players big headed and wet behind the ears of "lets see how well we do in a couple of years before I make a firm commitment". I want to hear something like, "I'm committed to the challenge to help raising this club up to premiership contention". If they give a 100% for four or five seasons and nothing happens then fine. They gave their best and can depart with honour. I have nothing but contempt for this new wave mercenary attitude. Hogan is the type of player to lead us to success not the kind to hang back from the tail.
  20. Is that another name for Burswood? Or that place in Melbourne suboring?
  21. Hmmm......manager speak.
  22. If we are going to improve, it just as likely will happen without him. It is not a one man show and thats the way we are heading with him. Having an awesome talent like his might make him too big for a modest club like us and end up a millstone. Like Lockett at the Saints, Richardson at the Tigers and many other sides that pinned their fortunes on one big key forward for zero flags. Plus I was annoyed at some of his Prima Donna hissy fits last season. Not a good indicator. If he wants to go, then goodbye and good luck. I just hope we are prepared.
  23. I know it would never happen but if the clubs were punished for player outrages as well as the players I reckon these kind of problems will reduce dramatically. Loss of one premiership point for a first offence for example. The resulting club and peer group pressure would be harder for players to thumb their nose at.
  24. If the saints dump him, can we trade him with 94?
