Even when Pedo played poor or average games I like the way he contests and breaks up packs. We don't have anyone else that impact marking contests with the same physicality except maybe for Trac but that's not usually his role. Hogan did it for a while but that's been missing from his game for a long time.

He must have the peripheral vision of a bird of prey. Sees the best option without turning his head and lightning response. Totally aware what's happening around him all the time.

Should have bottled up the game. Crowded the forwardline. They scored those goals too easily given the conditions. Other than tapouts big guys like Spencer and Smith would have not been very effective in the conditions that late. Dumb coaching and dumb leadership let us down.

Even though Hawks are much slower this season I can't see Trengove keeping up with the modern game even against them. Will only get a game if 3 midfielders go down with injury.

Teams that jump out of the blocks with a such a free wheeling high scoring attacking game usually run out of steam at some stage of the season. If we can apply our best pressure like we can and have demonstrated in many quarters we have some chance.

Richmond are getting slaughtered and Freo not much better this week. If only we beat sides like Freo and Richmond like we should have. Two huge FU's. Could cost us bad come finals time. Concede 16 goals to a side that averages less than 10 a game since begining of last season and conceding a 4 goal final quarter lead in a wet night game. How often does that happen?
