The Uncle Bitter show has arrived in Alice. I know Territorians are famous for their hospitality but I'm quite touched that they put on a fireworks display in my honour.

They had an excellent local shiraz at "The Burra" . Overindulgence in which accounted for my late arrival in Coober Pedy.

The Uncle Bitter convoy has arrived in the fair Hamlet of Burra on route to Alice. The locals are very excited of course. I'm currently enjoying a libation at "The Burra" and , I must say the dining facilities are very pleasant (albeit rustic)!

I'm leaving tomorrow morning Jim and aiming to arrive Saturday arvo. I'm more concerned about a decent Shiraz than steak sangos so I'll be packing a couple of decent quaffers .
