  1. Think this is super important. It's a great move for AHG, AFL is a country wide game that will promote their company throughout all states. Big businesses are likely to see stability in them and if you're a big business with a large fleet you'd be stupid to not go through the enormous financially viable AHG, than a small individual dealer. This is more about exposure than sales, as it would be for a company like Fujitsu, but it's a huge win for MFC regardless.
  2. I'd prefer they just have the AHG logo on the front without the URL underneath. They have the back too which can be a big spread of their website, but keep the front small with just their logo. Looks so much better IMO
  3. I retract all previous statements, and present myself as nothing more than an absolute idiot. Thankyou Shmity, I'll remove myself now!
  4. Definately a sponsor announcement. For those who weren't aware, NT sponsor Parramatta Eels to the tune of $4 million dollars over 4 years and Adelaide United in the A-League at 300,000$ a year. It's clear with the GONT all over our sponsor boards they will be involved heavily, and with us playing games we want this sponsorship. Hazarding a guess, I'm predicting an official announcement with NT tourism, to take our back of jumper sponsorship at a similar value to the Eels, $3-3.5 million over 3 years. NB: This is no inside info, just some research and guesstimation.
  5. If we draft him, I'll seriously reconsider my membership. Not just the assault, people forget he completely turned his back on us when we offered support, he's clearly addicted to drugs and still drink drives. The guy is a head case. If drinking a beer and having a smoke stops Garlett from getting drafted, I've got a better chance than Liam. Move on all, we gave the guy the chance of a lifetime and for a variety of reasons he let himself and us down. Move along.
  6. The channel is used when there's an overlap so it means the first 26 picks are likely to be on foxfooty.. After those picks often the panel than thoroughly go through every pick and you get the occasional update of whoelse is getting picked up. With 505 they'll show live draft picks as opposed to the post pick discussion.. It'll be up to the viewer to choose which one he wants
  7. Without looking at stats, I'd have a guess and say you'd average about 5 of the top 10 to play 150 games + games, 3 to be good average footballers and two to play 20-60 games but never amount to much. Sadly we've had a lot in the last 2 columns so here's to hoping this year we do get it right.
  8. That's not commentating though..

It's give to Gore, hope WR1 is open on a bootleg, leg it or get sacked every play. You're dead right, excellent athletically but his play recognition is terrible. That said, he's missing Manningham and Crabtree, his best 2 recievers. That'd make Peyton look average. Seattle Detroit Cincinatti
  10. Had some tools to play AFL, but the game against North Melbourne summed him up. Got a few early touches, than didn't go near it. As we were getting spanked by a team who wanted the ball more, he raised his elbow 2 seconds after Lindsay Thomas got rid of the footy and was lucky to get 2 down to 1. He missed the following week, an important game against Gold Coast which we got spanked and didn't play another game. He's clearly a great fella, been told that by players too, however he just didn't have what it took; had footy smarts.. but just didn't get it. Saw he got married recently, so hopefully the news is somewhat broken up by that. All the best Neville in your future endeavours.
  11. Not too ramble or guilt, but on the topic I took out the subscription about a year and a half ago, not only is the mobile setup absolutely incredible, the no-ads pays it's way in spades. Further Demonland allows us Dees supporters some joy in these years of pain. I guarantee you I got more satisfaction out of my $25 dollars here, than the membership I bought for the real club! I'm a paid up Demonland member on a 22 year old checkout chick wage! Screw coffees this week, there's no spring carnival put a few bucks into Demonland and we all benefit! Thanks again Nash, DL and all. Sprawling Bigfooty looking for a training report or Aidan Riley stats was something I never want to do again!
  12. PM'ed you Al.. Given it was a few days ago may already be gone but dibs if not!
  13. Tad underwhelmed by this pick-up. As always I'm happy to be surprised but feel it's a little overkill on the whole 'we need big bodied clearance players' thing. He was pick 58 in the 2010 Rookie Draft, and played 12 games at the Crows, who I'd say are far from deep in that department. I've seen nothing that separates him and I don't particularly see why he wouldn't be available as a rookie. After the Jack Hannath experience I'm guessing we learnt our lesson to bite the bullet. Congratulations to Aidan, as in this video you can see he has some good lower body strength and I'll always back anyone who puts on the red and blue, but up front I'm certainly not jumping as high as Dom or even the qualities Cross brings us.
  14. One of Jetta or Nicholson will have to be delisted to make room to use necessary draft picks. They will be able to be re-drafted or rookied.
  15. Follow him on Facebook, regularly his friends tell him to stop drink driving or smoking up on his status' but he just thinks it's the media's fault he's in this mess. It's sad but he's nothing more than a disillusioned drug addict these days, and it would bode well for our club to stay as far away as possible from a football standpoint. Brilliant if we can still over support and guidance he needs it, but let's move on.
  16. In regards to the running grades it's ridiculous to really rate them. If you put Patrick Johnson next to Usain Bolt you'd give him a 5 but he'd still be the best runner in any other room. Clisby and Jones are two footballers who are not athletes first, it's evident by watching them, but it doesn't make them bad footballers, or bad trainers. For all we know, Roos could be very happy with their effort and disappointed with say a Nicholson who he knows should beat the whole field convincingly. I think running drills are bloody ridiculous to assess, grateful for the guys reporting them but it truly gives us nothing as supporters.
  17. Nothing to do with affording, he'll still be on decent cash but Carlton needed him to change over to have enough list movements on draft day. He'd still be on 200-250k on the rookie list so there's no way we'd touch him.
  18. With all due respect TDM, disposals shouldn't be a rating attribute of a player. Magner had absolutely no damage with his disposal and it's why he's now on the scrap heap. I thank him for his time, but Cain kicks goals, gets both uncontested and contested footy and is effective by foot. I'd take that over 35 handballs, 15 kicks 11 ineffective any day.
  19. I disagree completely, and whether he did feel frustrated his point is valid, because if you read his second tweet it wasn't the article he was necessarily angry because said journalist often walks down the hall stops Gerard and Robbo and says 'mate, hope you're well loving the show!' There is nothing worse in this world than a two faced coward, if you like Robbo or not, Davis has taken a horrific low blow at two big dogs to make a story. If you think Robinson's journalism is poor, it's a **** load better than that approach.
  20. Clearly a few secret axes to grind in the industry.

  22. It is bandied about alot these days isn't it. I'd say the person with the most star-quality on our list is Dom Tyson. Following him as a junior, the comparisons to Pendlebury are absolutely there. Exceptional in tight, great hands and a very attractive long left foot. Does he have the burst away speed.. due to injuries so far I'm not sure though. NB: This isn't saying he will be a star by any means, but I feel like if he works as hard as Scott does to be the best player he can be, he could end up one.
  23. Haha I might not hit the bullseye everytime, but I always hit the target! Caros arrows are lucky to hit Hutchys gut!!
  24. I'll post it as a rumour but I have it from an elite source that an American businessman was willing to sponsor the Saints, for around the value of $10 million dollars over 7 years. It was told to me that I think Eric Bana or whoever the Saints bloke is set it up, however it was on the proviso that Watters was no longer coach. Seemed the money won out, and quite frankly St Kilda had to make the decision.
