  1. It could be worse... I could be living in Melbourne and joining you and your illustrious company.
  2. The footy department have been wonderfully helpful every time I have contacted them, but they are hardly going to make an exception for you and provide a year patch to keep you on board. As for what you could do with the scarves, how about donating them to one of the charities that clothes and feeds the homeless... I'm sure a scarf (regardless of the team) would be greatly appreciated by some of those doing it tough during the winter months. As was stated by another poster, it is a pretty bizarre reason for not renewing.
  3. No need to do that... just use a site like Hotels.com to find the best deals... my son and I always get a comfortable hotel in the middle of the city for around the $120 per night mark.
  4. Any discussion of Watts on Demonland always seems to produce what could best be considered "Pavlovian" responses. He states that we was obviously joking around in the interview and that of course he is going to talk up the team he is now playing for; all perfectly reasonable. http://www.smh.com.au/afl/afl-news/port-adelaide-recruit-jack-watts-laughs-off-premiership-quip-20171212-h02z3p.html
  5. That's a rather unfortunate shot of Baker... or rather, unfortunate positioning of (is it?) Jetta's backside.
  6. There's not much of a better recommendation for the film than this:
  7. I thought Dunkirk was an excellent film... it left me exhausted. It's available on DVD/BluRay on the 18th of this month.
  8. If the cap fitz, caraldo.
  9. It's the MFC Arts Club performing a re-enactment of Théodore Géricault's painting, "The Raft of the Medusa".
  10. Maybe you held your Return Key down for too long?
  11. It's probably fair to say that Viney was the only Hungry Jack... the rest were more Wimpy than Hungry Jacks.
  12. It's somehow comforting, in a weird kind of a way, to see that MFCSS extends beyond the firewall of Demonland. If nothing else, this does prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Ox IS one of us!
  13. Even ENYAW called it in August in the Delistings at End of Season thread.
  14. Exactly... and if you ever needed a Neita comparison, there it is... he spent time in the back line before moving to become our most successful forward.
  15. I had a brief chat with Mitch Hannan at Monday's training session and asked if he thought Fritsch was a chance... he seemed to think they must be looking at him and that he would love to play one flank with Fritsch on the other. Personally, I get the feeling we will grab Fritsch with pick 31 and Bailey with 29... no idea about the others.
  16. His height and intimidating physical presence would be to our advantage, but I think his age may not be in his favour.
  17. What the "beautiful" game has come to... even the ball boys are diving!
  18. Ok, as promised, a few photos from Monday's session. These are more me being a little self indulgent playing around during the editing process, so they end up being more studies of the players rather than action shots. Also, please don't get your knickers in a twist over the colours of the jumpers etc... I just amped up the saturation settings, so the blues (in particular) have become much more vivid. One more thing that I would appreciate... if anyone feels they would like to share any of the photos here or on other sites (Facebook, Twitter etc), I have no problem with that... but could you please at least acknowledge that the shots were taken by me (that is, attach my name to the post - Tim Fleming NOT Hardtack). Thanks. Hope you like them regardless...
  19. I thought JKH was looking very sharp today, as was Jeffie.
  20. I’ll get a few more shots on Monday, but won’t be able to post them until Tuesday as I’ll be flying back to Sydney on Monday evening.
  21. It was mentioned to me at Friday’s training that this Monday it starts at either 11 or 11:30am. All players are back, including Jake Lever.
  22. If you click on the “on Thursday” link just under my name “Tim Fleming”, it should take you to the album which does have public access.
  23. Not so sure about the interesting part, but yes, I do sing in a band and do a bit of photography.
  24. But he was hopping freely!
  25. Follow the link for a few photos from today’s session (interrupted by my racing over to the Dees Shop to pick up a jumper to get signed for my son). There’s a few incidental non footy shots at the end, including one I liked of an unsung hero of the music business... one of the drivers that lug the stage gear across the country; he was hauling gear for the Drake show. Hope you like the shots.
