Joeboy, of all the posters that comment on players' performances, every week, I respect your opinion much more than many others on this forum. You remain unbiased and have no problem praising a player who may have played poorly the week before. Others brand a player, and no matter what he does on the day they criticize. I agree too with your answer to Jaded who seems a real know all. Doesn't like her opinions challenged.

Yeah, winning our Bluey in 2008 is way way back in the past isn't it? He is averaging only 26 possessions this year and when has he played a bad game? Yze Magic has not got a CLUE as to who is our highest paid player. Over the years he has pulled figures out of the sky which have sometimes had a range of $100 grand. One time it was $450,000 then later it was $550.000! NO ONE knows the exact payments except the parties concerned. He has been on about this for countless years. YAWN!!!

Plus Bruce had 11 CONTESTED possessions. My 'nephew' went OK. Always in there trying his guts out.

As a boy way back in the dim dark ages, I followed Williamstown because my cousin, Billy 'Bomber' Wells was their star full forward. Then it was Sandy due to its Melbourne connection. However, Frankston joined the VFL and being a Frankston boy, I have a soft spot for them. Now I have Casey to follow because of the Melb. connection. That makes 4 teams I can barrack for in the VFL. I do have only ONE AFL team however. I am BIASED however because I am related to 6 of our present players. I am the uncle of Brad Green, Brock McLean, Jared Rivers, James McDonald, Brad Miller and Cameron Bruce. Ask Yze Magic he'll tell you this is true. Do you want to believe him? He told you all that I was related to Cam didn't he? Seriously though, this year I would like to see the Saints do well and maybe win the flag. I guess this is out of sympathy since they haven't had too much success as a club.
