  1. WJ's match preview from last week just about covered it. Timely.
  2. This is this week's list according to this morning's HUN. I'm unsure if it's the official list because Jayden Hunt should also be there. Shannon Byrnes (foot) – 2-3 weeks Mitch Clisby (quadriceps) – 2-4 weeks James Frawley (toe/hamstring) - test Jesse Hogan (back) – indefinite Max King (leg) – 2-3 weeks Jake Spencer (ankle) – 4 weeks Jack Trengove (foot) - season
  3. Is it my imagination or are things mushrooming a little?
  4. According to MFC website:Youngsters push round one claim Mitch Clark (personal leave) TBC Chris Dawes (calf) 2-3 weeks Col Garland (ankle) 2-3 weeks Jesse Hogan (back) TBA Mark Jamar (foot) 1-2 weeks Aidan Riley (leg) 3-4 weeks Jack Viney (concussion) test TBC means placed on LTI = 8 weeks TBA means we haven't got a clue, probably anywhere between 2-3 weeks and see you in July/August
  5. I stumbled on the MFC "injury list" from last Saturday's game here Mitch Clark (hamstring) 2 - 3 weeks Chris Dawes (calf) 1 -2 weeks James Frawley (ribs) test Colin Garland (ankle) 4 weeks Jesse Hogan (back) TBC Nathan Jones (eye) TBC Aidan Riley * (leg) 6 weeks Luke Tapscott (knee) 1 week Strangely enough Max Gawn and Mark Jamar aren't on the list but didn't play at the weekend. Why?
  6. Yes ... you pass.
  7. BTW if you want to know whether we sustained any injuries from today's game the details will be up on the MFC site around 23rd March.
  8. Stupid comment since I wasn't making a comparison but responding to the question when we last won a game at Etihad and gave the correct answer.
  9. Disgusted they left Shannon Byrnes out of the final squad last night.
  10. Beat Collingwood there in the NAB Cup 2 years ago.
  11. Loved it when the commentators were making excuses for Richmond because the likes of Jack Riewoldt, Reece Conca, Ivan Maric and Daniel Jackson were all missing - as if we had a full side. Cracked up when they were scratching for more missing players and finally came up with Ricky Petterd.
  12. The thing is that we had four or five others on the night headed by Terlich who would have come close to that level.
  13. Clark, Garland out for NAB Challenge FWIW, this is the official injury list Injury list: NAB Challenge, round one v Richmond Mitch Clark (hamstring) – 3-4 weeks Colin Garland (ankle) 4-6 weeks Aidan Riley (leg) – 8 weeks
  14. Interesting tussle between the Demons and the Cats in Premier District Cricket at the Albert Ground today with the MCC just dismissing Geelong for 266. They were chasing 7/354 (dec) and were motoring along quite nicely at tea with Aaron Finch in the 80s and the score 4/207. Finch got his ton but the wheels fell off and the Cats lost 6/33. Demons likely to figure strongly in the finals.
  15. I think this is tongue in cheek but can't say for sure:-My Essendon Integrity Officer Job Application
  16. No ceegar for India - missed out by 40 runs. I suppose if the Aussies can topple the Proteas over there then we could take the #1 in the world mantle.
  17. I'd like to be there but can't make it. Look forward to your report.
  18. He might also get a game with his beloved Bombers as well next year if he's fit and the number of infractions is high enough.
  19. Some might have missed it due to all the stuff that was going down with Hird yesterday but TMac was interviewed on SEN - Dees morale never dropped despite losses .
  20. Sorry, spellcheck's stufphed.
  21. Feel sorry for the Essendon players and their fans. The players had a fantastic season under difficult circumstances and showed a lot more backbone than ours did under fire. As for Hird, Dank, Robinson and co they can go suck eggs.
  22. Callan Ward already ruled out because of an operation today.
  23. The hidden penalty will come in time. The loss of draft picks will be costly going well into the future and if the final ASADA report hasn't come out by the trade period then the Bombers are out of the picture there because nobody will want any of their players.
  24. Tom Couch (hamstring) test Jack Fitzpatrick (concussion) test Jeremy Howe (concussion) test Nathan Stark (ankle) 2-4 weeks Jesse Hogan (knee) 4 weeks Sam Blease (ankle) season Shannon Byrnes (foot) season Mitch Clark (foot) season Michael Evans (foot) season Daniel Nicholson (groin) season David Rodan (knee) season James Strauss (shoulder) season
