If only this could all be attributed to a corked thigh. He's always been a horrible kick and at this level, it's a problem. Poor kicking was a significant factor in why we were humiliated yesterday and continue to be a bottom four side.

His kicking and decison making is diabolical and is showing signs of getting worse. It's a conversation worth having. Criticism of players like McDonald and Grimes can be shouted down, but they are both huge liabilities at present.

Cross worked his arse off all day, led the tackle count on the ground, and was one of the few who made the RIGHT choices with ball in hand. Clear 2nd best behind Vince.

40 points flattered us immensely. North were crap today. We were deplorable. Missing targets all game, many from 10-15 metres away. Handballing to players who are immediately under pressure. Was never that worried about this, so much so that I'd forgotten about it. Still good to have closure.

Not sure what to expect from this. Partly because of the beltings this mob have given us in recent years, but also because of their current Jekyl and Hyde act. If we are on from the very start, we can match it with them no matter which team shows up. If we are even a little bit off and they bring their A game, it won't end well. My tip is there will only be a couple of goals in it this time. As to who comes out on top is anyone's guess.
