  1. I hope he goes there and I hope they plummet. That would make me very, very, very happy.
  2. Sensational news,
  3. Great post.
  4. And so another demeanIng chapter closes and we move on. Hopefully it gets scrapped now, but I think they like having it up their sleeve. For what circumstances is anyone's guess.
  5. You mean....a Mitch Switch? Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all night.
  6. Rewind to 2011 and few would've disputed that we had a player on a path towards being a bonafide A grader. A 19 year old averaging over 20 disposals at 72%. A tackling machine who could win his own ball and use it extremely well. We know how things have progressed from there, the theories behind which are varied, but all have legitimacy - injuries, positional changes, premature captaincy, culture..the list goes on. Even his own teammates have given him stick for his "concrete boots", and just maybe the source has been found and is about to rectified. Time will tell on that front. A core midfield of Jones, Tyson, Vince, Viney and Cross sounds okay, but Trengove would be a very handy addition to that list of names. Just how important is Trenners' resurgence to the fortunes of 2015 and beyond? How hopeful are you of seeing it happen?
  7. Meanwhile, Priddis is in the lead..lol
  8. Dunny 3 votes. Never thought I'd see that.
  9. I'm still none the wiser as to what the hell Frawley was doing.
  10. Has now. Honestly can't believe he didn't get a vote in the Adelaide game.
  11. Lol @ Danger's reaction to getting 3 votes in the game against us
  12. J Bennell with a vote against Port
  13. ...except when you can't get it in there.
  14. Very much looking forward to him returning to the forward line.
  15. Can land a decent hip and shoulder. Trengove's best mate. That's about it.
  16. Not really mate.
  17. This is simply not true. He showed an ability to play a role, which was the basis for his promotion to the senior side. The readiness to put a line through players is getting silly. Let's just see how he develps next season.
  18. I wouldn't be totally opposed to a week's break before the PF. Top four would still get an advantage with the double chance and would all but totally rule out complaints over one side getting a week off. It would however mean that the winner of a QF gets TWO weeks off, which could almost be a disadvantage if they are too cold going into a PF. Overall am happy with the way it is.
  19. I'm guessing we'd have to pry him out of their cold dead hands. Smedts is an interesting one. Natural talent but would want to be wary of a player who stagnates in an environment like Geelong. In saying that, we need to have faith in the new coaching staff.
  20. I see his upside, I just give more weight to his downside, which you don't see as a downside. I'd take him if we got him very, very cheap, which isn't going to happen.
  21. You think I'm basing my view on one game? Okay.
  22. Sorry mate, but his kicking is cod ordinary. When the game was still on, he'd had 17 disposals. 5 of them were kicks, and I can recall one that hit its intended target. He had a few cheapies when the game was over I assume (didn't watch). He did some nice things where he read the play well, used his speed to good effect, and created scoring opportunities, but it was his first passable game this season. I'm just not falling over myself to get him here. I'm a bit over players who can't hit the side of a barn.
  23. The hypocrisy leaking out of Eddie's ears as he tries to explain how it was the best thing for everyone will be good for a laugh though.
  24. I like seeing Norf put back in their place. I hope Swans win by 100+.
  25. Unless I'm mistaken, I believe "Dee Fan" is our old mate RobbieF.
