A bit strange, but I don't thnk a video is going to make much difference either way to be honest.

Even Chipper has realised the Cats are a dud.

Pretty much all going to script.

Presenting The Ollie Whines Lounge. A place where all the ollie whiners can come to mingle. What's that? Ollie Wines had 46 disposals, 18 clearances, 14 tackles and kicked 7 goals? Need to cry into someone's shoulder? This is the place for you. Forget creating new threads to tell the world how angry you are. Forget "gee that Wines kid goes alright, thanks Mark" in every second thread. This is your one stop shop for the great big sook. In The Ollie Whines Lounge, you can bleat and moan to your heart's content, free from the judgement of others. Never again will your insistence that you "knew Wines would be a star" fall on deaf, uninterested ears. Enjoy our unrivalled selection of tissues and hard liquor. Relax on our vinyl couches where the tears just roll right off. For the dead eye dicks, you will find our dart boards, each with a bullseye featuring either Mark Neeld or that awful Jimmy Toumpas. Show your friends who really wanted Wines more. After hours and feeling that impending mix of sadness and anger? Retreat to our Self Flagellation Room (proudly sponsored by BBO). Whine in comfort and style in The Ollie Whines Lounge. And when you leave, please, for the love of god, shut the [censored] up about Ollie Wines.

Wines with two. I mean WHITE with two.

Right you are. Not one post from our resident hindsight recruiting expert.

Oh yeah, awesome support to be whinging about how great Wines is and how we blew it big time. What a tremendous show of faith. And what if we did blow it? Tell me exactly what is constructive about bringing it up again, and again, and again. It's verging on trolling now. And it's the same girls' blouses that are doing it.
-
Cause the alternative is what exactly? Sooking about it non-stop? Sounds awesome, how do I get in on that? Support the Toump. The guy that plays for US.

Top 4 absolutely should have an advantage. A 1 vs 8 knock out scenario would be far worse than the current set up. There needs to be real reward for the regular season.

Genuinely one of the best games I've watched. Amazing.

Apparently she thought they were intruders. No reason to doubt her. She looks as clean as they come..

And you retreat to your panic room when the drug testers show up at your door?

To suggest that Mitch didn't have depression is a massive allegation, and personally I'd be keeping that to myself unless I heard it from Paul Roos himself. Some people will believe whatever is written here and an allegation like that has no place unless you are 100% certain of it. Have some maturity and think before you post.

If he wants success then he should be steering clear of the Cats who are (finally) on the slide. They may just cling to a top 8 spot next year, but they will eventually sink to mid table and it will be a while before they are challenging for a flag again. Suns or Pies would be the better choice. So hopefully he goes to the Cats

He'd be an upgrade on Terlich but I think you have to be naturally wary of a player who gets delisted by the wooden spooners. My recent recollection of him is as a bomb it forward type. We desperately need some composure down back so that search would continue. Collected a few comments by Saints fans to throw into the mix. Seems to be a recurring theme re his knee injury. Be your own judge: "Youd think Gwilty might get a trade bite." "Gwilt busted his guts for years. I think he will be at the Crows next year" "Circumstance dictated that Gwilt had to play as an undersized FB, in his later years a role that he was not cut out for due to his lack of height. A good player before his knee injuries, a lovely kick in his prime and someone who never seemed to drop his head considering the crappy roles he had to fulfill." "And Gwilty, I think his career could've been something much bigger then what it was, when Goddard left I thought he'd become our go to man as an avenue out of defense but then had to play as an undersized KPD because of our depleted KPD stocks for years." "Was amazing until the knee injury occurred and seemed to rob him of his agility and power." "Gwilt is the most likely to be picked up by another club given his age and versatility." "Leading up to him doing his knee, Gwilt was becoming one of our most damaging players. It's a shame he hasn't gotten back to that form, and that he was mostly made to play out of position for the last couple of years." "Jimmy Gwilt, my favourite player. Ultimately could only be considered a solid player but his 2010/2011 (before knee reco ) he was very very good. Anyone who disagrees go and watch the 2010 finals series. Minimum of fuss and did it against the odds. Really great kick? Sadly, hasn't been the same player since he injured his knee and it's been hard to watch him as as shadow of the player he was. All the best gwilty." (A lot of comments along the lines of "almost a premiership player" and "but for a bad bounce would've had a flag". Poor buggers. So close yet so far and it still haunts them)

Can't believe Norf are (in all likelihood) going to be in a Prelim. Their supporters are going to be insufferable.
-
And of course that's what he did right? Just went out and punched someone. Not get attacked and defend himself. He just assaults people. Cause he's a d1ckhead and a "rubbish human", according to people who have never met him.
-
Am I reading too much into it or is him meeting Jonesy's little girl a very good sign?
-
This gets to the heart of the discussion on the second point, which alot of posters have addressed. Personally I think the goal should always be creating a side that can eventually win you a flag, cause otherwise, what are we actually here for? But in saying that, I appreciate the logic to getting this side competitive now, for several reasons, not least of which is the commercial need.

I think you are underselling them to make your point. If Martin hasn't starred at Brisbane, then we have different definitions of what it means to star. There is a ton of denial floating around when it comes to Martin. Rivers was arguably BOG in the QF. I think Cats fans would say he's been better than "serviceable". Bennell played 19 games in 2014 for West Coast. He and Petterd haven't "starred", but they've played their best football since leaving the club. Would anyone bet on Blease being any different? I wouldn't.
-
^ if this is the case then I think there's been a gross underestimation of the boost it would give the team and supporters to have Mitch running out with the boys again. I can't see why they wouldn't be making concerted efforts to get him back if he is physically and mentally fit, as has been suggested.
-
Such a subtle move from Mitch that one.
-
During the Neeld years, games would have two possible highlights - a Howe screamer or a Blease goal on the run. Mostly just a Howe screamer.
-
I clinged to hope with Sammy like a fat kid to the last donut, but the donut has gone stale. I still believe he has/had the ability, but it just hasn't been realised. He needs a change. I'd take either of Garlett or Robinson for him and it wouldn't be that tough a decision.
-
Possibly working on the theory that it will all blow over once he is settled into his new club. It's amazing how forgiving fans can be once you start playing well.
