Watched Roos and am none the wiser. Didn't seem overly keen on him staying but could also read that as him keeping his cards close to his chest. This whole situation is one major mind [censored] and I'm going to stop trying to make head or tail of it until we reach an end point. Hopefully it's a positive one. Would be a nice change.

It will be the opposite if the reaction on BF is anything to go by. If Clark thinks he will be a feel good story by walking to another club and leaving the MFC twiddling its thumbs, I think he's in for a rude shock.

What a crock of [censored]. I have a lot of sympathy for his situation but there's a limit.

Words fail me.

That's about as critical of Richmond as Caro is ever going to get.

- Mahoney has stated publicly that he would hope and expect Mitch to speak to the club directly, meaning he hasn't done so yet. Not exactly an act of diplomacy to come out and make such statements. - Alterations made to his social media pages to remove references to the MFC. - Manager has confirmed he wants to make a return to AFL. MFC never specified. - All media channels reporting that it won't be this club he plays for. You'd have to be a serious optimist to think he will be playing in the red and blue next season.

Perhaps should of seen it coming after the way he exited Brisbane. He's got the bulk share of his cash. Not bad for 15 games. My blood is boiling over this. What a disgraceful betrayal it would be. Will have turned his name to mud at two clubs and effectively the AFL at large. Jaded is correct in that it's best to take a breather before all the facts are out in the open, but it is looking very ominous.

At least it shows he still cares.

Which surely means he will only go via a trade. I trust those in charge to get the absolute best deal for the club, but I'm not sure Lumumba is equitable. Clark is worth two of him. He can change a game off his own boot. This would be a huge middle digit to the club that has done everything in its power, financially and otherwise, to support him.

I'm cheering every Port goal.

This is...just so nice.
-
Why on earth would the club not want him? Will wait til we hear something concrete but geeze, this would be a real heartbreaker.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HERITIER LUMUMBA
P-man replied to Moonshadow's topic in Melbourne Demons
Which is true, he doesn't. But his opinion carries a hell of a lot more weight when talking about how this sort of humour impacts upon gay people. I would also add that his response is in keeping with how my gay friends conduct themselves. H's moral grandstanding is extremely tedious, but I couldn't really care less about that. I care about whether he makes us a better side. I think he would, though not significantly, so it would depend on the asking price. -
Gotta love that stat.

It's wrong to go for the scum under any circumstances. That's why they are the scum. I hate North as well. In a game like this, you go for the umpires.
-
Get out.

Bizarre. He was chugging along okay before his injury. Has been worse than garbage since coming back.
-
Whoever suggested we should be chasing Gary Rohan should tune into this game and hang their head in shame.
-
Didn't hear it myself but was apparently mentioned on 3aw this morning that we are set to throw some big coin at the Texan. Imagine the reaction from the crows fans. Please let it be true.

Mac, what is the difference between "No" and "Indifferent" to the question, "Do you actually GAF?" Is it possible to not GAF about GAF?
-
Wonder if there's a similar argument for Grimes. Has regressed since taking Barrassi's 31 (on Neeld's advice...another Neeld pearl of wisdom).
-
I have no idea what most of that means but will take your word on it But yeah, I thought it showed a side to him that the "Robinson is such a [censored]!" tirades don't account for. It's amazIng the venom people can spew about someone they have never met.

Jetta did not fade towards the end. His last two games weren't up to the standard he set this year but the four preceding that, he was in the top handful of players on the ground. The coach's award was well deserved and 9th isn't an outrage, but for me he was quite clearly in the top 6 or 7 players in his shutdown role that he executed pretty much on a weekly basis. It was more than the last couple of weeks that Frawley copped flack. It has been a long stretch of games where he was lazy and ineffectual, which for me overshadows his influence in the early stages of the season. I still think he may have been bumped up the list for other reasons. Viney ranked in the top four or five for average disposals, contested possessions, clearances and tackles. There is no argument that will convince me he was not in the top 10 players this season. He wasn't great, and he needs to work on his disposal, but so does the rest of the side. Watts deserves the criticism he gets. No, Kent wasn't great by any means, and yes he is wildly inconsistent. But was he better than Terlich and Garland? Absolutely.
-
Seems petty to name names but whatever.Jets should have been 6th. 7th at worst. Frawley at 8th is surely to con AFL house into that Pick 3 compo. His second half of the season was poor. Was not top 10. Viney at 11th is about 4 or 5 spots too low. Watts did not have a better season than any of Viney, Jamar, Pedo, or arguably Dawes. Kent clearly had a better year than either of Terlich or Garlo - granted he only played the 13 games but still. Main standouts.

Wow...some of those rankings are... Wow.
