  2. u speak the most sense on demonland Bhima, love ur work!
  3. IF he is fit, Frawley in for Macdonald and make Petterd in the 21, but not sure who to put as the sub. Maric should be given a month to prove his pre season form in the 21.
  4. at least bruce will kick it to a dees player when he gets it..
  5. 6. Moloney 5. Tapscott 4. Martin 3. Trengove 2. Jamar 1. Garland
  6. jetta, martin, petterd, spencer is the official bench with strauss, trengove, warnock emergencies, not sure I like martin n spencer in the same side, surely spencer will be the sub
  7. while where on the topic of aussie; I happened to bump into dean rioli the other day and he reckons aussie is on of the best back pocketers he has ever seen.

  9. haha, um I would just take warnock out of the side then put garland back in defence and move trengove to the wing!
  10. and col sylvia is our best midfielder so he will start in the guts in every game!
  11. few things, warnock has shown this yr that he is not in our best side however this might change throughout the next year but come round 1 2011 if everyone is fit there is no way warnock will be in the side because garlo plays 2nd KP defender much better! * its moloney not maloney bate is the same with warnock and to have dunn and petterd on the bench instead of half forward is a joke! and trengove will not in a million yrs be an emergency having said all this I can see why ud want garlo playing on the wing because of he's athleticism, great kicking skills and tough match up he'd make for the opposition. The thing is, even though it is portrayed how strong our backline is, we desperately need garland down there to take the 2nd best forward so it frees up rivers to be the 3rd man up. If someone like davis comes along to be a very good player in a couple of years this may free up garland to play wing as you desire but i cannot see this happening in the near future!
  12. can we stop the bruce bashing! he was a great player for the melbourne football club! and i'm not sure ur serious with this statement! i am a big supporter of morton but even i will admit hes willingness to go hard at the ball and accept body contact is a big weakness of his which i hope he erases from he's game like greeny has done!
  13. if ur talking about garland here and not morton ur kidding urself buddy! garlo is clearly are 2nd best key position defender and played that role superbly this year, why on earth ud move him from that position is beyond me!
  14. well put, for anyone whose played footy at whatever level would know that hard 'gut' running can be just as courageous as flying back into a pack! for me its a toss of the coin between greeny and aaron (don't care who gets in between these two). then will see either scully or grimes for the nxt skippa!
  15. not surprised about the selections, yes chip is a super player but doesnt seem the sharpest tool in the shed! rather him focus on hes own game like col sylvia then worry about leadership duties! ........ actually this whole leadership group things a bit of crap really!, u dont ave to be part of this 'leadership group' to lead on and off the field!
  16. cheers, but just looked and couldn't find it, whereabouts on the MFC website are the highlights located?
  17. Jack Watts is close to our best decision maker with the footy in his hands already!
  18. this bloke is just such an exciting prospect!
