Was impressed by Nathan Jones from his first game and has been my fav player since. I could never understand why people wanted him gone at one stage. Clark, Tom Mcdonald, Blease, Howe and Nicho

I think as a team I have not seen much of an improvement but as individuals I have seen great amount of improvement. Jones: Has stepped up to become one of our most important players, his leadership has taken a massive step up. Howe: Can take a massive grab we all know that but can take a strong mark that isn't a specky that most of our players would easily drop. Blease: Finally a player in our side that can simply run from one side of the ground to the other with out getting caught. Is finally believing in himself that he can and will become a great footballer for our side. Mcdonald: Considering Frawley from what we know he is capable of has had an ordinary year, this kid has really taken control of the backline and has really been able to beat players that have been in the game for a long period of time and have the bigger body over him. Strauss: Great to see him back, fantastic foot skills, with a full pre season under his belt this kid will become a very important player for us. Grimes: seems to be a new man, finally stringing games together, doesn't look like the captaincy has got to him and I love how pressure on the field doesn't seem to get to him he takes his time to make sure his pass is effective. Watts: Decent year, his marking is becoming his strong point, when he gets his body bigger he will have no problem with using it and making the ball his. Magner: pretty much came to the club for free, has worked his ass off and adds a lot of grunt to the team which we lacked. Clark: Great leader for our club and gives us a target in the forward line. His marking and accuracy for goal is amazing. Nicho: great pace from this kid and just runs his heart out every game, once he gets his kicking right he will turn into a fantastic player for this club.

we need DAN NICHOLSON ! we need speed off the back line. we are so slow compared to other clubs. In: couch/nicho, martin, tapscott and blease Out: green, sellar, macdonald and bennell The annoying thing our players seem to have a bad game go to casey and play food and come back and play [censored] again. The side changes way to much every week.

We need to do something special for Jimmy in round 1. Even if its something small like red and blue balloons everywhere that we all let go before the game and watch them fly in the sky. Just to make it special and that we can remember this game forever and to remember it was to celebrate Jimmy's life.

R.I.P Jimmy Can't believe it I hope every Melbourne supporter shows up and supports the boys round one. i wish to see the stands packed with red and blue. That's what Jimmy would want to see!

Good idea! We need to get LOUDDDDD!!! we need to make some noise for the players to hear us and hopefully it will help fire them up. when they come out after half time melbourne fans will give a small clap and then our opposition will come out and their fans will give them a huge roar! i know it may sound stupid and little but we need to do everything we can to fire up the team and even the crowd and let everyone hear us! go dees!!!

I remember after the first nab cup game thinking we are in for a good season. we did a lot of things right but the following week just made me forget everything i thought the week before. i don't mind losing to collingwood and hawthorn as its only the nab cup but just like the normal season i want it to be because the other team was just to good and not because of our silly mistakes that cost us the game.

I actually like Kelvin and hope he improves and cranks into the side

I believe Daniel nicholson will have an outstanding season next year This kids looks amazaing in nearly every article about someone training the house down his name has come up and his leadership has already been talked about he might not be a star in the future but he is exactly what we need and I'm glad we have him

Agree with what you say. I will miss the excitement these two bring playing together If it was a go home factor I can understand but if it wasn't I believe he should of had a year to prove himself. even though I expected this i am upset he is gone

does anyone think this will have a little impact on jurrah having one of his best mates gone? just wondering what everyone thinks so don't all jump on me haha !

beautiful!! hopefully he ends up loving this club and will want to stay for the rest of his career... his 23 now by the time his contract is up he will be 27 if i am correct? so if he did want to head home hopefully cook or fitzy will be ready to take over and wont be a huge loss if he does decide to go.
