Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>

Equally though, if there are no records, what is the defense? Critical under WADA rules where the burden of proof shifts much more to the athletes. -

If he can get himself together enough to play reliable and consistent footy at any level it would already be an achievement. AFL - very very hard to ever imagine again, unfortunately. -

Just bought 4 Europe/Oz returns on Qantas. Doing what we can ... -
I'd be thankful of any extra sponsorship, and support any decision the club made - but if I had my druthers, it wouldn't be Lidl. They make "sell em cheap, stack em high" stores look like Harrods.

The film as well, but how could it fail with lines like: "Hitler - there was a painter! He could paint an entire apartment in one afternoon. Two coats!" Would/could never be made today of course.

Sobering reading. Interesting to see the weight given to a) remorse and b) likelihood of repeat offending.

He took off fairly quickly the morning his car was involved in a crash.

Perhaps of interest to recall that drugs were first banned from sport in the early 60's not because it was unethical, or cheating, but because it was dangerous - prompted in particular by the death of Knud Jensen at the 1960 Olympics. Having athletes collapse mid-race was a step too far. -
That's a chapter of the book of Neeld that remains to be written. Craig was there specifically to make sure what happened didn't happen. So what happened?

Agree. To add to that (though guessing somewhat, as I only watched on TV), it shows the discipline that is already in place - as there wasn't always a clear option or target, the players were holding the ball up rather than just bombing it long. IOW, the lack of a fully functional forward line and KPF's cost us doubly: not enough firepower up forward to kick more goals, and then exposing ourselves to turnovers and opposition goals by having to hold the ball up across half-back and the centre. Though as I said, watching on TV, so could be wrong. -

Hawthorn. Effortless. Impressive.

Let's see how well Rivers gets through this season, didn't do all that well last year on the injury front.

Hard to imagine him being voted into the leadership group if his investment in the club/team was waining.

Until such time as the AFL move away from a business model which has TV Rights at the centre, all other forms of media content and broadcast are going to be compromised. I live OS, and watch online through a subscription to AFLTV (not accessible in Oz, though perhaps there's a way round that with a proxy), but the service is - and I'm being generous - substandard and unreliable. Even then, it's just a simple broadcast over the net: clearly the AFL has yet to even begin to grasp the reality of online and interactive viewing - or perhaps they have, but won't budge for fear of upsetting their precious broadcasters. If the AFL want to get rid of the illegal streams, they need to get their own house in order.
