  1. No thanks. Too old.
  2. Haha, I think you've nailed it.
  3. Fwiw, I don't think GG's comment is a disgrace.
  4. The first two were alright (although predictable :D).
  5. Don't be under the assumption that people are dismissing it simply because the new regime doesn't want to go down this path. It's certainly not the reason I don't want us to get Brown. I want to see a premiership, and don't think recruiting JB gives us the best chance to do that.
  6. Bruce © McDonald ©
  7. Understandable - I said the same thing. I'd also rather Demons die than move.
  8. Okay, assuming Brown was interested... No thanks - he'll will be past it by the time we're in flag contention. I don't care about improving our short-term on-field position, I want to build a premiership team. I don't think Brown could play in a premiership at Melbourne, and thus I want to build around a younger side.
  9. The top few comments in the Healy article all seem outraged at the idea Green would be traded, and instead proffer Bruce. I'm pretty sure most teams would take Green over Bruce, so it's apples and oranges. I like Green, but I'm sure he has a high trade value, and thus we should evaluate any offers.
  10. I can't see this happening. If he somehow fell into our lap we wouldn't be complaining, though.
  11. One thing that many people miss when talking about AFL players pay packets is that the skills they're developing are not easily transferred to any other industry. If you're not one of the lucky ones that gets a gig in the media, or take up a coaching role post-footy, you're going to have to find something completely different to pay your way through the rest of your life. I agree - really impressive. Haha. Good luck keeping it quiet
  12. Need seating to host AFL games, IMO. ...if we want a half-decent crowd, that is.
  13. That would have been fine - just wondering where we were sending our players. Cheers.
  14. Haha. I love this bit: "right now im that [censored] at the collingwood football club , i already ripped my pie sheets of my bed and smashed a few things.."
  15. Given there are a few we'll get rid of before Whelan, I don't know it'd be worth ditching him for a 70th pick, or whatever. A little off-topic, but I'm pretty sure I had the car that I see in your avatar
  16. That's an interesting take on the two forums - it's usually the other way around
  17. I have no rush. I see both extremes - an overwhelming desire to see him debut regardless, or an overwhelming desire to see him overlooked for senior selection - as poor. If form merits selection, he should be picked.

  19. I find it almost laughable that some want him to wrapped in cotton wool and automatically ruled out of MFC promotion, regardless of form over the next three weeks at Sandringham.
  20. PJ isn't even the number 1 ruckman now...
  21. Out of interest, what school (maybe better just to give the area, rather than the specific school you're at)? Anywhere near Casey Fields?
  22. How about this morning? Post #29 in this thread is but one example of posting straight after your own post. I'm fairly sure I read a comment by you regarding RR's posting that prompted deanox's posts p/day comparison, but it seems to have disappeared. *shrug NB: Not trying to take a shot at you.
  23. Yep. With McDonald re-signed, it's likely he'll hold onto it another year, which effectively puts off any decision.
  24. Yze has been in pretty decent form at Sandy over a number of weeks. Holland's barely played. I think it was a toss-up between White and Jamar, as both were just going, and given where our Club's at on-field it's no surprise Jamar won out. I agree. Yes, I think we do
