Having been at the game today these are just some points I picked up That was Dunn's worst game I have ever seen My god any chance someone could have taken Riewoldt. At times Dunn took him then Lumumba and even poor Jetta and Salem had to take him because Tommy was nowhere to be seen Any chance we could lay a tackle. We just couldn't stick them today Man up on the players. The amount of times the saints were just out on there own especially going into there 50. I think I heard on the radio they had 18 uncontested marks in there. For those who missed Petracca's debut, don't be annoyed you missed nothing. However he should be played for the next few weeks to get him used to senior footy and give him a go. Anyway remember the saints thrashed the pies should have beaten the hawks and nearly best port. They aren't a bad side. We missed some easy goals. Frost's was a disaster and still don't know how he kicked it out on the full Cam Pedersen it's ok to be selfish sometimes. You can go for goal. Instead a couple of times he handballed it off which was 1 to many and we stuffed it. Unfortunately we are going to have these ups and downs and I suggest in the future if we do string some wins together we don't get carried away and talk finals.

Can't wait. It's great going to go to games now knowing we can win rather than past years going because it's a day out and if we didn't get beaten by 70 points it was a good day. But now it's great to see the likes of Maxy dominate, Viney just going in hard, hopefully Hogan can kick goals and now today seeing Christian debut. 3 wins in a row will be fantastic.

If North and Dogs are 2 best teams in it ...

Next 3 weeks nth play saints carlton essendon. Most likely 9-0. But as JB keeps saying they will have a tough draw in the 2nd half of the year. But geez there forward line of Waite who marked beautifully tonight, Brown and Drew is a great advantage. We should have beaten nth. But it will be interesting to see if they can finish top 4. -
I know it's not our home ground but it's our home game. Past home matches the crowd hasn't been great and that is mainly due to the teams performance. But we need the fans to get there tomorrow and make it loud like it was last week. We are playing some good footy at the moment and shock horror we are winning and going for our 3rd in a row. Petracca will be making his debut which will be exciting. It would just be great to see a lot of red and blue.

Yeah I was going to ask if they quizzed him about being caught smoking on the way to training. Was it Rossy that advised him probably best to give up the darts. Anyway it is great to see him playing awesome football and wear the #11 proudly.
-
Awesome cannot wait to see what he brings on Saturday. When I was watching ch10 sport and said breaking news on a young demon I automatically thought it was something negative that maybe Viney injured himself or something. But happy news and I like how Rossy has made him wait. 3-5 years ago he would have been thrown in r1.

We have to be ready for a hungary tiger team tonight but if we can start like last week that would be brilliant. I forgot that Viney missed last years match and was reading about how excited he is for tonights game. Hopefully Hogan tears Rance apart like he did last year and we can dominate the middle. Gawn should be bale to run Maric off his feet around the grund. Hopefully we can keep Riewoldt quiet and aslo MArtin. I cannot wait and I'd be so disappointed if we lose this. I hope we get a great croed and make a lot of noise. I know it's the long weekend and people go away but it would be great to have a lot of support there.

As Eddie McGuire said on radio yesterday if anyone goes on and on about being a hawks member he asks how they voted in the merger. Talking about Nic Nat I cant wait to play them because Maxy will just run him around and he is a great pack mark.

Cloke dropped for monday. Big call by bucks. I mean you would think Cloke could find form against essendon. If the pies lose on monday the pies fans will riot.

Angus Brayshaw's close family ties
dees189227 replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yeah read that as well. It was a great story and loved the pictures of them in the bath. But it's good to see his brother found a career and as any family member would feel when his brother does get posted you would feel scared and nervous for him. -

What a brilliant game. A few dodgy frees but geez as a person who supports neither of these teams it was just brilliant footy.

No Razor sunday night. We have got that ump that short changed the saints last week. But what a good game so far. Eddie Betts just on fire and cannot believe Tex Walker was just standing alone in the forward line and took the simple mark. Great to see Kyle still getting a game. He is just a battler who does his job and keeps his spot.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 5, 2016

They should bring Christian in next week against the saints at etihad. It's our home game and may get a few more people through the gate not that's a reason to pick him. Christian will get his turn. It's sort of a good thing he isn't being rushed. 5 years ago he would have been chucked in. But now we are having small successes we don't need to make big changes every week. But those 2 ins are very good for us. -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 5, 2016

Jones came off in the final minutes last week and on radio they said an injury. I thought they may have chosen to rest Oliver when we play the GC in a few weeks time. Wow wasnt expecting Christian to be named but it would be great if he did play. I hope we get a great crowd and the melbourne fans turn out. Would be great if we could repeat last years effort. -
Good to see and it will be good positive talk Im assuming and obviously to pump up sunday night.
-
Yeah she was on game day a few weeks ago. Was brilliant and certainly knows her stuff.

Yeah I don't hate Howe for leaving. I get why he did it. My biggest fear yesterday was he was going to take a massive hanger. But he had a shocker as did many of his mates. I bet he never would have thought when he crossed to the pies he'd find himself at a club that was near the bottom and questions being asked about the coach. He would have thought he'd got away from that.
-
Wow saints are 10 points up. Regardless of the hawks injuries if the saints get up that is an awesome win.
-
Geez arent west coast a tall team. They should be way ahead even more. I think this could be an 80-100 point drubbing. But geez dont they get a good run with the umpires.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 4

On ch7 sport during the week they reported Hogan leaving the track early and returning with a bandage I think around his calf. Geez if he misses no one will kick goals. Geez no Jeffy again. -

Anyone else fear that Cloke will suddenly kick straight, Howe will take mark of the year and the pies find there form? -

Well 2 changes at least. Vince out and now Vandenberg will miss with an ankle injury. MFC just tweeted out. Dam what is going on with ankles. Hope Jeffy comes back. -
Also sylvia getting his jaw broken and no suspension. Bernie will be a huge loss this week.

MIDFIELDER Bernie Vince has been charged by the match review panel for striking North Melbourne’s Jamie Macmillan during Sunday’s five-point loss at Blundstone Arena. Vince can accept a one-match penalty after initially being given two matches. The incident was deemed intentional, high contact and low impact. Yeah it was stupid raising the elbow but its not like he sent him off concussed.
