Yep, I was at that game and it was probably one of the worst matches I've seen in a very long time.

Would like a game where we have a good chance of winning (not a big chance, but a chance). Would be good for the team to kick of the year with a win. Maybe a team like Carlton or Essendon, but I doubt it. Either way, can't wait till round 1 regardless of who it is.

I was there at that game this year, but couldn't make last year's great comeback win. Like everyone has said, it was a bit wet before the game, but I don't think it rained a drop from start to finish. Always good to see a win and it was of those matches we could afford to win and knew we would anyway, so it made it easier to enjoy.

Is he worthy of a review? Can't see him at the club for much longer.

Fair enough. Not a big fan of the square logo and definitely want to see the demon back. Our old demon logo was great, but I think it's time for a change. We are entering a new era, so it's only fitting I think. Whether they go with this new current demon or another design, it doesn't bother me that much.

Is it that new Demon logo I can see in Mousey's sig? Because I quite like that one. Anyone got a proper image of it? I can't seem to find it.

I approve of Green in the forward line next season. With so many midfielders now I think we can afford to. However, I don't mind seeing him play a role in the middle from time to time. Was listening to the All Night Appetite SEN overnight show yesterday and some Melbourne supporter rang up wanting to trade half the team, noting that he "Has never liked Green". I lol'd.

They call the off season the 'silly season' in English football, and it's called that for a reason. Same thing goes in AFL too I reckon. While it's exciting at the prospect of young guns getting drafted, I'd rather skip straight to the start of the season than having to worry about players like Davey leaving the MFC.

I can't stand the amount of flack Watts gets on Big Footy. I don't post on there, but I do read threads on there from time to time to get an insight in what other supporters are thinking. He's played 3 games and he's only 18 years old, but already he's been written off. Unbelievable. The ignorance of some of the opposition supporters is mind boggling.

Big match coming up this weekend, Chelsea vs. Liverpool at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea coming off a 3-1 loss to Wigan and a 1-0 win against Cypriot team APOEL in the Champions League. Liverpool coming off a 6-1 demolition of Hull and a 2-0 loss against Fiorentina in the CL. Should be interesting based on recent results, both teams should come out firing.
