Jesse is just the player we need right now Gee I can’t even look at Maynard. Total meathead.

Imagine life without May and Gawn. We’ve got two years tops
-
6. Viney 5. May 4. Bowey 3. Fritsch 2. McVee 1. Howes
-
Oh well at least I got to see one premiership in my lifetime albeit on TV.

It’s just Groundhog Day every time with this team. It really doesn’t matter how many times you get the ball , you’ve got to be able to do something with it. We still have the same forward line coach in Stafford, surprise surprise! Horrible to watch, fumbly and wasteful and zero connection with the forwards. If Schache gets another game next week I will not be there.

After we dominated the opening quarter and couldn’t put the score on the board. We never take our chances. Fought back to lead at one stage, but then looked gassed and fumbled ourselves out of it.

We are easily the fumbliest team in the AFL ANB and Sparrow the biggest culprits. Grundy BOG
-
Salem has disappeared in the second half as well
-
Grundy owns Maxy tonight
-
Rivers and Sparrow both having shockers
-
Gotta be the worst half of footy I’ve ever seen Trac play. Schace is too meek, can’t see him ever changing. Looks slippery as hell out there

Caleb Windsor just wow!

Gut wrenching news Gus was our family’s favourite player and is a true inspiration in my book. What a terrible start to the year for the MFC, with one bad story after another.

Matthew Lloyd Worried About the Dees in 2024
DeeZee replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
The only thing that worries me , in basic terms, is that we have had a disconnect or lack of fluidity in our forward line for two seasons now , which cost us two finals series while deep in the premiership window ,and it’s yet to be seen if this issue will be resolved. -
Kynan Brown is like another Bowey ( who was everywhere by the way),but in the forward half , he just has that zip and mongrel in him, really competitive young man. I think we will enjoy the silkiness of Windsor for many years to come , just looks the goods. TMac will take Thommos spot . We just need a fit Petty in that forward line along with McAdam and we will be fine. Plenty of options in the midfield now with Trac, Oliver, Sparrow, Kozzie, Salem and Billing’s Viney is an absolute machine and is my early pick for B&F Special mention to Rivers who looks like going up another level again.

For one season only
-
I can’t believe we Will possibly only have one more year of Petts as after it’s looked liked he is the guy we really need at Full forward and now looking like losing him in his prime.
-
Collingwood far from dominant scraping over the line in every game. The luckiest least dominant side to win a flag in decades. A happy Maynard just grates on me.
-
Out TMac, Brayshaw, Lawrie. In Grundy, Woewodin, Jordon.

Maynard must get at least four weeks
DeeZee replied to leave it to deever's topic in Melbourne Demons
Maynard knew exactly what he was doing and that was to take a player out. No other outcome was possible when he chose to leave the ground and make front on contact , whether the ball was in the vicinity or not. -
Our two must successfully tried forwards this year albeit short lived were Melksham and Petty. Rotten luck that we don’t have them for finals. On a side note, are we missing Spargos forward connection nous?
-
If we had lowered our eyes even 20% of the time instead of bombing it long to Darcy Moore we win. Its one of the most obvious things in football and we fell for it, as we blazed away instead of working it short. Dumb Coaching
-
Our two best forwards this year were Petty and Melksham. Sad we couldn’t see them the finals

Even a Jefferson would be a better option than most of our forwards at this stage. Melksham going down was a much bigger disaster than we could have imagined.
