  1. We weren’t soft at the back end of 2018, and were actually being described as brutal by certain sections of the media. The question is why haven’t we played with the same vigor since? Are they just comfortable with themselves and just happy to be AFL players but without the drive and burning desire to do the hard yards to succeed?
  2. It’s all about run and zip and we only have one player in Langdon doing that so we need more Bedford and Baker have those attributes
  3. This is exactly why we have gone backwards. Not good enough, and it’s looking more and more like the coaching
  4. We were a great club in the 50s/60s Since then been bog ordinary We have no right to be treading water We should be desperate, ruthless and brutal.
  5. Exactly We are far from that ruthlessness we saw late 2018 and have become almost smug , meek and mild , with no right to be.
  6. We are still a shadow of the team we were in 2018 and will only be making up the numbers if we fall in. The only chance is to find that fire and fierce desire again.
  7. Too many similar types. We only have one runner in Langdon. Against the swans Langdon was everywhere and really showed up his flat footed team mates.
  8. We just don’t have that killer instinct. Don’t want it bad enough . They are happy playing golf and surfing in the hub. Should have come out breathing fire against the swans, but what we got was lukewarm.
  9. We were very lucky to win that albeit for a bounce. They smashed us in the clearances and inside 50s. They also sit above us on the ladder Clearly a better team.
  10. St Kilda improved 200% when he left.
  11. GWS did us a favor Hopefully they can stay in. Will spare us the embarrassment, and begin the process of a serious review and a clean out of the chaff.
  12. Maxy seems to have lost the art of ruck work
  13. Soft, Fragile, Flaky, untrustworthy. All if the above.
  14. Out- Melksham, OMac, Wagner, Jones, ANB, Harmes, Smith. In - Baker, Hibberd, Bedford, Bennell, Jetta, Lockhart , Pickett.
  15. MFC - Soft , flaky pretenders
  16. Typical Melbourne performance. Will always be Flaky pretenders Until they can prove otherwise. Not this year I’m afraid . Im hoping we don’t make it now so as not to be embarrassed.
  17. We are not really a finals side anyway , it’s all false hope yet again. Just middle of the rd team at this stage.
  18. Langons and Gawns kicking lol
  19. The silky skills of Omac doing wonders up forward.
  20. The ball lives in our forward line most of the game, but we can’t score. Weed been very poor today as well.
  21. Put Tomlinson in the ruck and Gawn in the goal square
  22. Harmes has been pathetic all year. They don’t pick in form, that’s the problem. Guys like Bedford, Baker and Jetta have played well in the twos last few weeks.Who do they bring in? Harmes, ANB!!! They keep Wagner and OMac!! These guys wouldn’t get a game with North, let alone a finals aspirant.
  23. I can guarantee you that we will not come back and win this game. Sydney have kept us to two goals in a half and they are up by 5. They would be loving this, as they love nothing more than a low scoring scrap. All over. Goodbye 2020
