Having said that I also think the Panthers were being overrated a tad. Their wins haven't been all that impressive

People could be sleeping on the Steelers a bit, they have some very good weapons on offense and solid line players. Everyone's expecting a Pat's/KC AFCCG but I wouldn't say it's a foregone conclusion. Anyone but the Pats please.

I thought the Saints were a good bet today, rams haven't impressed the last couple of weeks just scraping past Denver and Green Bay. Let's see if they can regroup for the 2nd half of the season, nothing worse than being October champions.

Tough week to pick road teams Gonna go with Bears Chiefs Texans Would love to pick my Jets as we tend to win down in Miami after losing at home to the Fins but not too confident with the amount of injuries we've had

		2019 Fixture

I agree but pretty sure it's in the ballpark of $1m a game - we'd have to get a crowd of 80k minimum at the G to come close (probably closer to 90k). And that's without factoring in these games would be played at Docklands which we'd never get close to that return Plus we have to come up with extra dollars to make up for the lost revenue we were getting from the pokies (we wouldn't have made any profits in recent years without that). I'd say we'll be playing there for the next few years at least.

		2019 Fixture

It looks like a tough draw now but this time last year getting Adelaide twice looked tough as well. Commercially it's great that's as much as you can hope for from the fixture. Competitively if we're good enough we'll win. Prefer a battle hardened team than downhill skiers

If we didn't sell home games we'd have 5 games interstate too. Can't complain when it's our choice

		- What’s the go with Essendrug? When they click they can be very good but a flag? I see top 4-6 as their ceiling. Fact is Bombers sell so of course spring/summer articles about the Bombers being flag favourites are going to draw eyes. Same things were said last year, how'd that turn out.

- 2019 FixturePretty sure we no longer play home games at Docklands - we have 9 at the G and 2 in NT. If we stopped playing NT we would likely play those games at Docklands. As a trade off we seem to play the Bombers away at Docklands now (we used to play them away at the G). I want to see us play Essendon the week before ANZAC Day on Thursday night (before Good Friday). Seems like we might get shafted with this and Coll/Rich goes on Thurs and we play Bombers Saturday meaning Tigers get a 6 day break while we get a 4 day break going into ANZAC Eve.
- Farewell Jesse HoganI feel like I've just been Inceptioned
- Farewell Jesse HoganPut another 1 or a 3 to the right
- Farewell Jesse HoganFreo players spend time posting comments to Reddit?
- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAYOne of the things I love about this is that not only have we secured May we prevented the Pies (on of our premiership competitors) from landing him. If there's on thing they need in their team, it's a key back as evidenced in the GF.
- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAYEither he doesn't like the Lions or he fires up for big rivalry games. Can't wait to see him front up to Lynch Anzac Eve
- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAYI thought I remembered that same poster saying earlier in the year he had inside knowledge of dissent between players and coach. I could be wrong though.
- NFLRams Vikings Pats Gotta go against the Jets this week, don't think we can string 3 on the front (all at home too!?)
- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAYThat's interesting
- Farewell Jesse HoganDefinitely handled it with more dignity than another Hogan did "You fans can stick it, brother!"
- Farewell Jesse HoganThat article mentions mental health issues which had been alluded to but not stated outright. Wouldn't surprise considering his last 2-3 years and you can't blame him for wanting to get back to his mum, siblings and mates. This is a bit different to generic "homesickness" the guys been through more than any 23yo should over the last 2 years.
