  1. He won't go for a round 5 pick. We'll get a late 2nd founder at worst I'd say. POSSIBLY early 3rd founder but unlikely. Club has outlined their reasons for moving him on, that's not gonna change.
  2. But but but not everyone has to be a hard trainer like Viney or Oliver. A club has to be made up of different types and different personalities. Kids and sponsors love Jack. Maybe what we see is what we get with Watts and it's just OUR expectations that are out of whack. It's our fault because we're expecting the Messiah and taking it out on him cause he didn't live up to the hype. Watts is already as good as he'll ever be it's just cause Goodwin hates him for some unknown reason that he's willing to get rid of a matchwinner and all round good guy in some bizarre attempt to cut of his nose to spite his face. I'm not renewing my membership. Or something. /sarcasm
  3. Doubt it. I think their mind is made up regardless of what we get for him.
  4. Ron I love your posts but I can't understand this comparison. Weideman is in his 2nd season, Watts in his 9th. Weideman may have underwhelmed so far but it's apples and oranges.
  5. Viney probably got 100 votes each for the West Coast and Port games which would account for his high standing
  6. I don't really know how they do the votes so it's pretty hard for me to comment really.
  7. So if he got 4 extra votes across the season and finished 5th you would be happy? 10 extra votes and finished outright 3rd? It was tight, nothing malicious in it.
  8. Played 16 games, same as Frost. Finished with 40 votes less. He was obviously good in the first half of the year and did what the coaches wanted, had to take on rucking duties and battled manfully.
  9. Yeah Petracca another great performance in only his second full season. These two and Viney are gonna a fearsome midfield in 5 years.
  10. Absolute freak. Even Viney can't keep up with him ? Imagine how good he'll be once he backs himself in to kick and attack more, such a great pick by the recruiters
  11. Hibberd did get hurt by his opponent in games even if looking good rebounding out of 50. Not to say he was poor of course but some games where he looked close to BOG his opponent had kicked a few goals from memory.
  12. Anyone have the final results leaderboard? Showed it for a split second.
  13. Hibberd 3 votes behind Jetta, who was 6 votes behind Lewis/Jones I think - very close.
  14. Holy crap - preseason, training, rehab - you know the things the coach, captain, footy manager have all been commenting on.
  15. It's got nothing to due with "out-training" it's about exerting maximum effort, discipline and getting 100%, every last drop of potential, out of yourself. Some things can't be controlled. Effort, application, discipline can be controlled. What don't people understand about this?
  16. Never watched a B&F before, they don't do round by round breakdowns?
  17. His second half of the year was very good, didn't get the credit he deserved
  18. Thought he was talking about Hibberd
  19. Well done Nev Jetta, a tribute to hard work and getting the best out of yourself. Close to my favorite on the list
  20. Had it on mute on the iPad for about 15 minutes while catching up on NFL redzone from this morning (no spoilers) Are they running about an hour behind or what?
  21. Is it back yet? I'm just getting the rotation of sponsors
  22. Absolute rubbish. He suffers because he doesn't push himself to get the best out of himself. I'd say the same about Tmac and Jayden Hunt if they were in his situation and they were taken in the 50s.
  23. If he was only gone for a day that puts part of that rumour to bed and adds another strike against GNF's "mail". It doesn't necessarily discount it completely though if the club weren't happy with his rehab just may have been in Melbourne rather than Byron
