  1. We really shouldve been up by 50 points halfway through the last quarter but the Demons just love keeping our stress levels up.
  2. Salem was immense I thought. Max, Oliver and Petracca dominated the clearance bar one 15 minute stint in the 2nd quarter. I thought their small forwards would wreak havoc but we nullified them almost completely. CARNA DEMONS!!! Bloody good to get another win on the board and especially against another finals aspirant. And for those keeping track, Goodwin is 2-0 against Ratten
  3. They definitely had them up around the G last week including at the gates but I didn't notice anyone scanning them. I don't know why people complain about it, if you don't want to do it don't do it. Noone is going to be forcing you to scan it, it would be impossible to police with so many people going through and so many different places to scan. You won't have to scan it as you walk in they will have them spread around the ground so will be easy enough to avoid.
  4. What about GA seats? I don't think it matters really.
  5. No, but he did go surfing afterwards
  6. Interesting that Adelaide didn't have the same forgiving nature when Trengove got done for tackling Dangerfield or ANB last year. They were quick to whip out the medical reports on those occasions.
  7. If he had no option to tackle or smother then he was late and shouldn't have even laid a bump. He could have avoided contact altogether unlike the Viney/Lynch incident several years ago
  8. secured tickets ground level centre wing in the AFL Members within a couple of minutes.
  9. Good news for our home ANZAC Eve game - hopefully back up to 100% by then.
  10. I don't think we're deliberately conceding clearances but we are setup very well behind the ball which means if we do lose them we can intercept and counter attack.
  11. Not sure he was better than Stynes but agreed he was underrated. Was one of our best in our 1988 run.
  12. Get Strawbs O'Dwyer in to have a chat to him you reckon?
  13. I don't hold a grudge against anyone with a reason not to attend (work, family, covid concerns etc). That is a shocking figure for North. Their and the AFL's higher ups would be extremely concerned about that. There is a view amongst several clubs (notably the interstate clubs like Sydney, WCE as well as Kennett at Hawthorn) that there are still too many Vic clubs. Combine that with Tassies push for a team and having 13k or 21k turn up puts those clubs in extremely perilous situations.
  14. I'm not saying everyone has to attend every game. People have reasons why they can't attend. It's the ones who won't go because they're trying to "send the club a message" that [censored] me off.
  15. Lol The team you support had a win on the weekend. Those who could be bothered turning up were able to enjoy it instead of sooking at home in silent protest.
  16. Yes and North are in the conversation for relocation. That's my point exactly, is that where we want to be?
  17. How could they afford it?
  18. Now you've mozzed it!
  19. It's all related. Supporters turn up, dollars in the bank, greater investment in footy department, also creates better atmosphere at games so players don't feel like they're playing park footy.
  20. And Jones? Agree on Jetta but I'd be dropping Jones for Viney. Harmes lucky.
  21. Yeah but not haha funny
  22. 2005?
  23. Bums on seats. That's the only metric that counts.
  24. Whether we deserve games at the G. Whether we deserve prime time games. Whether we even deserve a spot in the national competition.
