  1. Trenners was one of the only shining lights on Friday. Can't afford to loose him for the Port game.
  2. Keep getting games into Strauss. This is the perfect season to give him pressurised game time. With finals still a realistic chance, we can afford a few mistakes this year. In a few years we won't be able too. Makes perfect sense to me, while waiting until next year when there is a higher expectation makes absolutely no sense.
  3. Execution and decision making. Good point, nutbean.
  4. He's up to 18 votes by my count.
  5. Not gonna happen. I'd rather build up a membership base in Casey.
  6. Been there. It doesn't compare to the hole that is Shell Stadium.
  7. Etihad is too expensive, but I always go. I shall be there again on Friday night.
  8. Haha, yeah I think you're right about the Hawthorn make up game. Costs thirty to get up to level 3. [censored] I know, but it's not totally out of the ball park. Just don't buy any food there or pay for parking.
  9. Martin stays. I'd think about Spencer, but he doesn't have the value that the latter has obviously.
  10. I thought JB was good against Ninthmond, but he did concede two or three goals, I believe. Certainly worth a game next week though. I've always been a fan.
  11. Why the heck is supporting a player silly? [censored] hell. We're supporters for a reason. Ridiculous statements.
  12. I think so, HT. Gysberts, Trengove, McKenzie, Moloney, Scully all seemed to lay numerous tackles just outside our forward 50 too (and indeed in our defensive 50). It shows you what great midfield pressure can do. There's a flow on to the rest of the team. The midfield obviously dictates so much of the play...
  13. He looks all class when he isn't the prime forward target. I mean, he looks good either way, but the way LJ covers the ground when he bursts through the middle and hits a forward team mate on the chest is incredible to watch. I think he almost becomes a little predictable when Aussie or Flash play. They always look for him.
  14. I must say - our game plan, zones and tactics seem to be catching slowly. Starting to think I was too hasty in my call for Bailey's head post West Coast loss. I did support until then, but that I thought was the final straw. It seems I was wrong. We certainly need to wait for the end of the year, but I believe we're on track.
  15. I heard some boos. Didn't boo him myself, but did have a good old cheer at his expense a few times.
  16. Great prospect this kid. Strong for his size and has only been caught twice this season. Breaks the lines and uses it well. Keep getting games into him.
  17. Aren't an MFC member, condemned? We get free entry onto level 4 or 3 or whatever the [censored] it is.
  18. Ordinary list, with a coach who thinks he can coach merely because he was a great player. Bottom four material, for the next 4 to 5 years. Can't wait to drop this one at season's end: "Should have kept Knights...at least you would have finished ninth!"
  19. I hope I'm wrong, but I'd expect the Pies to beat them in a Granny.
  20. I work in an office with 50 year olds now. I don't coach younger kids anymore, so I get what you mean.
  21. How was that passage of play involving Trengove, Scully, Gysberts and then finally LJ? He just missed on the run, but that would have been an amazing goal. It reminded me of Geelong in their heyday.
  22. The footy'll finish by 10.30 and you'll be in bed by 11.30ish. That's enough isn't it, mate?
  23. Winning there occasionally would be a help. I'll be there as I always am, but don't worry they'll come out of the woodwork soon enough. Wait 'til we're playing finals consistently again.
