Every week we have heard from the commentators about Melbourne's "stars". Most clubs would kill for a line of Gawn Viney Oliver Petracca, throw in Salem, AVB as well. We just play such one dimensional football. We aren't getting the most out of these guys.

It along with the current Victorian shambles will prove to have long term implications on the Federal Labor brand, there will be pushback and crossbench angst once polls come back closer to Christmas. Neither team is playing particularly good "team" football. Lots of individual performances on both teams. The most both teams deserve is 8th.

it's actually been a highly entertaining game. i think both teams are playing well but both are also firmly an 8th-12th placed side. Good spectacle so far.
