Hunt plays like an Essendon player.

Sydney has been getting solid crowds since the mid 90s. Lockett and Barassi set them up. It's no surprise that Gold Coast's membership and crowds became static as soon as Ablett left and they crashed again Brisbane, Sydney, GWS and GC simply can't afford to bottom out. Brisbane was on the brink a few years ago. Sydney has been very solid for going on almost 30 years since 1995. GC is going to be on life support until they win a flag. And you can bet the AFL will help them just as they did Brisbane.

A lot of people writing them off but they have talent and will trouble some sides. We *should* win easily but don't count on it. They're okay.

All of my friends are either Carlton or Collingwood. I'd say the ****talking between mates has been pretty steady vs past years but I'm not as prickish. But in talking with other supporters at work, my opinion definitely has more "weight" now. When I tell people I go for Melbourne it's normally met with a, "Ahhh ok" vs the old "LOL you go for Melbourne your opinion is worthless" that I used to get. I definitely enjoy getting stuck into Essendon supporters though. But there's more respect there now from Carlton and Collingwood supporters so I've toned it down a tad.

He was very good. Great vision and positioning. Not perfect and you could tell he lacks experience, saw Gawn direct him a few times, and go over to give him advice. But slotted in very well.

Mods @Demonland can we change this to a general tickets thread? If you have a GA membership or AFL Membership without a reserved seat I strongly suggest you book your Round 3 vs Essendon seats asap. AFL members has a few rows of tickets left on level 1 outside and level 4 front row but beyond that it's full. Four weeks out from the match itself. Could well be 70k+ if both teams start strongly.

I enjoy Foxtel mostly for HBO shows.

So bloody cut at Foxtel right now. Out of the house so planned to watch on Foxtel GO using my account. Didn't finish working until 9:30. Turned it on and....and the bloody app doesn't let you watch more than 30 minutes earlier. So i can't watch from the start. I swear, the logic of some of these apps is bizarre. Guess I have to wait until it's on demand.

Just booked my tickets for Round 3 vs Essendon. AFL reserve level 1, level 2, and most of level 4 is allocation exhausted. recommend booking your tickets for that asap. Could be the biggest crowd of the season up to that point of we both start undefeated.

Yeah that one was up there but nothing could beat coming back from 40 points down in a pre season game against Carlton at Marvel on a Thursday night in front of 15 people.
