Looking forward to some overpaying for Howe and landing us another top 20 draft pick.
-
Has Tyson had a touch?
-
When's the draft?
-
Pedo one of our best. No one in the goal square. Shocking, dumb football.
-
Nathan Jones and Tyson disappointing yet again. They have both been well below their best all year. Jones can't get away with just going through the motions anymore. He has failed to take his game to the next level.
-
Hawks aren't like Sydney. This *will* be a 100 point loss.
-
Lol........
-
Yep, we play like a team that's already lost. We haven't given a puff for three weeks in a row.
-
We have Garlett, Dawes, Garlett all capable of kicking goals. The forward line isn't the problem. The movement forward continues to condemm us as it did last year. Zero confidence going forward.
-
10 goal loss.

Do the same thing I'd do if we lost: get drunk.

Social media is the AFL’s most damaging opponent, Mark Robinson writes
praha replied to Romey's topic in Melbourne Demons
Lol, so now the world has shifted away from journalists being the harshest critics, to social media. Easy for Robbo to write this when he's the one with the higher amplification. If you can't handle what a few people on social media say, I doubt being a topic of discussion on a top-rating cable TV show is going to make you feel fuzzy inside. Hypocritical, hyperbolic POS article. -
The most impressive thing is that he has rarely if ever had a clear, direct pass to him on the chest on the lead. He often cracks it and teammates who bomb it in long or too short. Most of his marks have been contested which says a lot because once we get the decent delivery we at least know he will still make an effort to make a contest when there isn't an opportunity for a clear mark.

I remember back in the early 00s when Hawthorn were (among) the league's whipping boys and we were consistently considered finals potential. We smashed them by 10 goals a few times, but there were 2 games I remember where they got super physical and smashed us, both times unexpectedly. That happened often under Daniher. Anyway, those matches kind of set the tone for Hawthorn 2007-2015 and we haven't been close to a decent team since we last beat them 9 years ago. Prediction: Dees by 112

In their defense, most Blues fans I know are quick to acknowledge the ineptness of their club since 2002.

I don't know. I just find it uneasy taking pleasure out of another club's misfortunes. As much as I hate Carltom and it's fans, I don't wish what we've been through to happen to another group of fans... ...lol jk, screw 'em!

Have The Hawks become flat track bullies that wilt under pressure?
praha replied to PaulRB's topic in Melbourne Demons
Irrespective of form, injuries and suspension, they are still are 5-6 goal better team simple because we completely break down in the middle going forward and can't match their goal kicking capabilities. Unless Jones starts hitting our forwards on the chest, unless Vince wins more clearances, unless our rebounds off 50 are more effective a sweep across the ground, unless Dawes magically learns how to take a contested mark, it'll be another loss. Three tough round are almost at an end. Beatable, but unlikely. We need to complete.- 122 replies

@Young Dee Swans have been average. We could have won this They have looked flat since the 2nd quarter and we did nothing to take advantage Sydney didn't win this. We lost it.
-
When can we start questioning Roos' gameplan? Swans have been very average and our movement forward is as bad as I've seen. Unaccountable football. We could have won this if we could actually generate some momentum. Swans put the cue in the rack at half time and we haven't done a thing to challenge them.
-
We're finally finding some room but still not enough urgency to damage the scoreboard quick enough. We've let them win this.
-
We've been bad but Sydney's been average. Must be [censored] watching for a.neutral fan.
-
Must be hard selling the worst product professional sport knows.
-
@Kali of course we weren't expected to beat them. But they don't show anything! Evidently it's your "we're expected to lose" mentality that this team also has.
-
"They were last year's Grand Finalists!" So?
-
Hahahahahaha straight back. Get stuffed, Melbourne.
