Yep, your right MrQueen. Tackling Demonland's issues, in the off season. Culture is paramount, and we contribute to it in ways you would never think of.
-
Your post has nothing to do with my thread. Drafting women is not mentioned. But I take it we recognise Daisy as a club captain, because she IS, currently on our Demonland masthead. I would assume that means Demonland respects her position at the club, as captain of our women's team. And as such has her up on our masthead already.

Why would rugby or soccer move out of AAM stadium, the stadium was built as a rectangular stadium for a reason to house state Rugby League, Union... and Soccer. It is purpose built for them. We are the odd bods in that stadium.

I reckon we have too many players getting spots on the 'Demonland' masthead on false pretense, and not Via delivering real Footy to the Demons cause. I'd like to suggest that we select the captains firstly, and then fill the other spots with the top vote getters in our recent 'Bluey Truscott Medal'... So by my reckoning... we have 3 captains in the club. Jones, Viney and Daisy. Currently there are 10 faces on our Masthead. So if 3 faces are our captains, we might have 7 top vote getters of the 'Bluey', to add to the masthead ??? Any thoughts from the faithful ?

That's why I show Lever beside May, on the last line. May as the stopper... who can 'run off' at the appropriate times, with his judgement. Lever beside him as the intercept who can float across the backline as intercept, bet getting back before the ball. This allows us an even more attacking half-backline, with our skilled running halfbacks. I suspect CHB will be Frost or OMc. .

- - - - - What is the Cost of One Meter of Sea Level Rise? Sean Vitousek, Guest Commentary, | July 19, 2017, 9:48 am EST The opening line of our recent Scientific Reports article reads “Global climate change drives sea level rise, increasing the frequency of coastal flooding.” Some may read this as plain fact. Others may not. Undeniable and accelerating 100 years of data from tide gauges and more recently from satellites has demonstrated an unequivocal rise in global sea level (~8-10 inches in the past century). Although regional sea level varies on a multitude of time scales due to oceanographic processes like El Niño and vertical land motion (e.g., land subsidence or uplift), the overall trend of rising sea levels is both undeniable and accelerating. Nevertheless, variability breeds doubt. Saying that global warming is a hoax because it’s cold outside is like saying sea level rise doesn’t exist because it’s low tide. Global sea level is currently rising at 3–4 mm/year, making it a relatively slow process. For instance, tides typically change sea level by 0.5-1.0 m every 12 hours, a rate that is ~100,000 times faster than global mean sea level rise. It’s almost as if sea-level rise were slow enough for us to do something about it… https://blog.ucsusa.org/guest-commentary/what-is-the-cost-of-one-meter-of-sea-level-rise .

if you listened to Jason Taylor, we did draft for needs. He wanted to bolster our midfield with a second tier of mids coming through, and that's what we did. Prior to draft, we traded for needs as well.

I wonder If May will play FB... and Lever beside him? That would leave Hibbo, maybe Frost, and Salem Lewis Nietschke or Fritsch as the halfbacks.
-
I wish Bernie Vince was able to play for, and skipper Casey this year.

Agreed... he seems to have less puppy fat on torso. But the legs might look more muscularly defined If... he did more klm's on them in Pre-Seasons. I want to see Him much Fitter in 2019... and cover much more of the field at pace. I'd also like to see him change his attitude towards International Sports Stars, and stop idolising them... and start to think about becoming a genuine Star, in his own right... Via his own hard work. Thats is all I want to see from Tracca... Team player, with effort, first and foremost. .

... just to keep the forlorn Watts lovers happy, within this club. by the way... was there any truth in the rumour that the Power decided to recruit Watts during they're blackout days... when the lights went out. -

He just plays with a real ruthless nature,” Taylor said. Re Sparrow. Jordon is a thumping kick of the ball and is currently just 17-years-old. Re Jordan. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2018-11-23/rolling-draft-coverage
