Pass Mark 2019
I'll go for top 5. At this stage, all teams are looking to improve in 2019, and things do happen... some luck plays a part here or there, and screaming from the top of a hill will not help, but might hinder, especially at this early stage. I want our players hungry, but with a little fear of failure... instead of expectations, and entitlements. .

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Application on the track, and away from the club ??? I suspect.

2019 Fixture
I'd be very happy with a Dees v Bummers game Rnd1 either Friday night or a Twilight Sunday game televised free to air... This is early season, and still warm weather these days. I'd rather play the Pies Mid season & in September, to keep the mystique alive and strong. What about a Friday Night Rnd 1 Mfc home game v the Hawks, to kick things off ?

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
This is THE Key... Bbo. for growing the clubs support base. We do not want to be a 'Niche' club... We have to compete with the Toiges, & the Pies; who set up camp in our own family-room. front of house. So let's not tuck ourselves away, in some leafy cul-de-sac... away from the mainstream pedestrian thoroughfare. Passing trade is the name of any game. .

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Hmnn, one of my Fav's... SW. I think Sean would take the 3rd Tall spot in place of young smith. And wouldn't Nev love playing alongside Sean Wight.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Jetta, Viney, Harmes, AVB, Melksham, Frost, Brayshaw, Lever, Oliver, Spargo ? Weide ??? Maynard ? There's more than a handful of players, who can also play a bit, who will not back-peddle, when its hot in the Kitchen. This is a great start with our new-look list. It''s helpful when the list manager, and the coach are in agreement... on the types of players they want in our jumper... and its showing on the field this year. A team full of goers is much better than a list full of skill, but no endeavour. Its easy to add skilled players to a hardened squad, but its near on impossible to add hardness to a list of Primo-donna's.

2018 Demonland Banner 2.0
IMO, Petracca & Hunt were added to the Demonland Banner Prematurely. They still play like boys, instead of Men. Please, leave the young ones off until such time as they have gone way past a breakout game ans are performing week in week out.. Nev should have been added a couple of seasons ago.... and hunt and petracca still shouldn't be up there, as yet. imho. ... getting onto the 'Dl' Banner, is too cheap and easy, atmo. .

Jason Taylor Resume
I don't think Mahoney sees his job as finished, and I am sure he would want to be at our 'Bow' when we approach a Grand Final. I don't think Josh is going anywhere, Aand this thread is about Mahoney, not about the next CEO. Josh's job is contract players, or moving them on.

I think "the higher draft pick" only highlights the players name more... and they may even feel the pressure of expectation themselves, from the first time they cross the threshold of our home base. Weide was an early pick, so was Curnow. Watts in players minds, either makes or breaks them. The attitude begins the first time they come to the club. So if we make to nice, they may get too comfortable. Alternately if we behave too aloof, to them they may struggle without enough support. Dee Culture inside, and outside our club, creates what we get back. As long as the player strives for their best constantly. (see Jones... survived deespite the weak culture).

Josh when will you announce any new contract extension, to Sam Weideman ???

Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
I have always believed in players being able to shift roles ever since 'Barass' came back to coach us. And he took Flower off the Wing, and used him in a multitude of roles... improving Robbies abilities. Similarly kicking as well on either foot. Both these thing are invaluable to aid the side... and upset the oppositions team balance and structures.

Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
And this is what we want. All our Forwards and Mids working backsides off, and kicking goals. Shut one down, another pops up. https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjvrYvq0YzeAhXHR30KHavgByIQjRx6BAgBEAU&url=https%3A%2F%2Flookhere3.wordpress.com%2Ftag%2Fcat-gifs%2F&psig=AOvVaw3QXi-AtnkOgSeYoMnWesAq&ust=1539836942091667

Yes but Neale wants out, and has said so publicly... the deal will be done. I am sure. Even his mate from the Cats has already made arrangements to join the Lions. I think the Lions will end up uppin' their anbte` for Neale... watt goes around, comes back around.... Just like Halley's.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
I think they will be off loading some more top young talents in (2019)... ones who started off the wrong way in a lousy club culture. The cleanup will take a little while, and more mature footy heads have been recruited. Dewy is doing things right, now... there won't be any quicky fix, up on the Gold Coast. They are rebuilding that footyclub... and the contesting. The next thing then, they will aim for, is to get to being a destination club,,, as we aimed for. For these reasons, I think they will recruit young guns this year... to start them off with discipline and doing the hard work.
