  1. Ha, you beat me to it, 'DD'.
  2. Nat Jones is on 276 games this week... there's another 10 games this year to come... potentially taking him to 286 total... only 14 games short of 300_ https://www.melbournefc.com.au/player-profile/nathan-jones I reckon he could get to 300 games, playing into next year.
  3. He's right of course IMO, Red... We have a short window with Gawn 27yrs, and TMC as well, around that age. Two of our real Key players for a top 4 finish.
  4. Rotate Preuss from the pocket to on-ball... to the bench, and then back to the pocket, etc.
  5. Play some kids, keep rotating them every 2 or 3 matches. Put any who will finish up this year, in at Casey. Accepting Lewis. I want Lewis to play alongside any kids we promote, so he can teach them and direct them, 'Live' on-field. This si why we got him in to the club. This is his and our last chance to take advantage of his vast experience. We don't have anyone better to do this playing coach role, for the Kids.
  6. Yes... but he's fat feet don't fit well in stilletto's, Mr 'T'.
  7. There might be a trade on, for one of our younger defenders.? 'DZ'.
  8. ... and which part of the foot do shoes hurt normally.?
  9. Hmmn. It's a tough one isn't it. I don't know if jack is injured or if his foot is just weakened, or what the story is, but its painful to see. He's well below his unhindered best form. I was screaming from the bleaches to not keep him playing with the plantar fascia... and then again after he came back way too soon after, as we did with Maxy... and TMc as well, Our 3 most important players all cut down, with hasty decisions.
  10. Quite often hard work &/or creativity in 1%'rs goes unnoticed, because its mostly not-flashy. Yet flashy types that don't create much, but just feed on others work, collect most of the accolades. We're carrying a 29Yr old one now.
  11. i think there Will be a change at the end of this season.? I cannot see Viney becoming permanent Captain the way he is playing, atmo. He doesn't look like he can play at all. I think Gawn is one on the horizon for leadership, and also Harmes... who sort of reminds me of a young Barassi... in the manner he has come thru the ranks... struggled, until he built his engine, and is now such a gutsy leader in our team. One of our Best.
  12. IMO, he needs both, 'DG'. to become a well rounded player, who has more than one string in his guitar.
  13. Well done Clarry... you are amongst very high benchmark's there, with Diesel. But Diesel's possessions killed opponents. He was that good. Its time you took another level with your disposal counts, and make them killers.
  14. Two highly talented individuals, but commitment and dedication, obvious question marks. ???
  15. Hindsight. I hope this boy starts to realise his opportunity, and gets on with it. .
  16. I think this is starting to show.
  17. Not in his early years he didn't, 'PF'. He was as bad as 'Richo'. Riewoldt fixed his kicking around the time he played predominantly wing. Half way thru his career, he got much better.
  18. I think he's (spargo) there to be around, while we Put the Band back together, soupR. Spargo helps other forwards to get into the game. symbyosis, he will be better as we get better. vica-versa.. All we need is to get some more Brothers back onto the job... and some form will be just behind that arrangement. I think Tracca will be given a rest soon... when we have the major ity of Brothers, back together playing the Blues. .
  19. HFF : >>> Hannan, Melksham, AVB, Hunt, ANB, JKH, Fritsch, Dunkley...
  20. I reckon that was a good early call, 'Patch'.
  21. Thanks 'Kingy'.
  22. Pies supporter, Isn't he.?
  23. Hannan and Lever both got into the team, without any displayed form, or condition. Both not ready for AFL.
  24. Maybe in his future, he might follow other deeminutive smalls, to become coaches.?
