Might be picking up a little. I don't think 16 points is enough.

Hogan is a beast! Contested mark against two dogs and a goal!
-
Jones has 12 disposals, 6 tackles and a goal. J. Smith 12 disposals, 4 marks 3 tackles Salem 15 disposals
-
We're 3 points up at half time against the premiers. No complaints about that even if they did score a big run there.
-
Jones' fumble there was really poor. He was clear if he took that ball and instead he put it into his opponent's lap for a goal.
-
Dogs are very good at controlling the fall of the ball.

Doggies are getting away with murder on hands in the back.

Wagner looks to have done a knee

Hard to tell with jones. He has a bulldog coloured jacket at the moment.
-
Nope. He's sitting a few feet away from me in the stand.

Heads up folks. They aren't letting you bring folding chairs into the ground. I just got upgraded to the grandstand by pointing out that my 77 year old father can't be expected to stand all day.

I use an 8 inch tablet, so no problem for me.
-
Nope. Her kicking was rubbish.

Pathetic light sentence. She ran past the ball, took two more steps straight at Downie and hit her with an elbow to the head. How that can be anything but Intentional High Contact and High impact is a mystery for the ages. Possibly even for Eddie. There needs to be an avenue for cubs to appeal these insane decisions.

Grand Final Squad of 2000 vs Now
RalphiusMaximus replied to Engorged Onion's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'd be very tempted to play Neitz at CHB. He along with TMac and Ingerson would be a very handy set of tall defenders. Then take your pick from Whelan, Jetta, Febey, Yze etc as smalls and you'd have a flag-winning defence. I do have to say that it's a pity the timing wasn't slightly better. Imagine having both Vineys in the one side. -
There was a lot of talk in the lead-up to the season that Fremantle was basically the WA representative side and with Cowan coaching were going to be very strong. Personally, I didn't think so much of them and thought they'd lost their best mid and forward options before they even started when they let Chelsea Randall and Sabrina Fredericks-Traub get signed by other states.

I agree, she did play a big part. She was instrumental in us being behind so we could come back at them.
-
Please take Mithen out of the bests. She was a disgrace. Every kick hit a Collingwood player lace out on the chest. Her disposal isn't just poor, it's playing for the opposition. There is no benefit in having 14 touches if 11 of them are to the advantage of the opposition.

AFLW Round 2 - Melbourne V Collingwood
RalphiusMaximus replied to Dee Gee's topic in AFLW Melbourne Demons
Confirmed. He also did the Doggies vs Freo in round 1. I think it was largely a gameplan issue. Have a look at how we played last night. I'm thinking they tried to stick to their plan in the wet and it fell apart. If they'd abandoned the plan and just played for territory then they would have given a much better account of themselves. -

2016 Player Review - # 34 Mitch King
RalphiusMaximus replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Interesting little snippet. Our Mitch, having never played a game for the club, is one of the most popular ruck selections in the AFL Fantasy Football this season. They have him on the bench in their Hype Team made up of the most popular selections so far. He's in 18.2% of teams so far. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2017-02-11/believe-the-hype-fantasys-most-popular-picks -
ADMIRED PAST PLAYERS FROM OTHER CLUBS
RalphiusMaximus replied to Bobby McKenzie's topic in Melbourne Demons
An episode I really admired I'm pretty sure came from Wayne Campbell. They'd been giving a hard time to a youngster on the opposing side and the kid got sucked in, forgot all about the game and was just running around like an idiot trying to square up to people. Campbell did what the kids own captain should have, pulled him aside and had a quite chat to him during a stoppage and got him to settle down and play the game. I thought that was just pure class. -

Mithen has to go. Every kick hits an opponent on the chest.
