  1. That would say more about Brisbane than us.
  2. Aren't you the bloke that wrote on another forum we just had to get games into these young players and we start to compete in finals?? 3 good young prospects. Hardly. Gysberts maybe. Martin has had 4 years and Morton has been a bust for a long time.
  3. He's not worth that. Everyone saw what he did in the QB game. Add that to 65 sub-par games out of 70 and its a win to get rid of him. Look at Clinton Young. Stuffed up twice in a GF and gawn from the Hawks. Its a cruel game.
  4. What did they actually contribute? I'd say its a fair deal.
  5. We haven't de-listed any players yet....... should be a number of those coming next week.
  6. And we have only beaten TWO Victorian teams since 2007. Disgrace.....
  7. We have plenty to spare with Rivers, Moloney, Green, Jurrah, Martin, Morton, Gysberts gone....
  8. Its done....
  9. They gave us pick 88 and we are paying part of his salary. They didn't want him that much but he is a cheap pick 88 for them. Face it Cale is a pea-heart with questionable skills and ZERO defensive mindset. I am the happiest guy around here now that he has gone. He is a coach killer that refuses to play to team rules and whom other players didn't trust him (direct quote from Rawlings)
  10. Martin to Brisbane is still likely according to trade radio.,,...
  11. Looking fwd to seeing how the rest of the list responds to the brutal turnover we are seeing. There are no sacred cows which is a fantastic thing.
  12. Lots a draftees are rated lower after 1 or 2 years in the system. Its not unusual.
  13. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing you have always done and expecting a different result. The players we have lost for whatever reason have not performed to the level the coach wants (other than maybe Rivers) and (I assume) have not impressed the coach with either their: work ethic, skills, body shape, dedication etc. I am all for change. AT last a coach who is leading/demanding and not following.... Boy it says a huge amount amount our training regime, culture and professionalism in recent years. It is not pretty/
  14. CLearly the coach has made a call on a lot of players. For that I applaud him. He would know better than us. The thing with trade week is that you can insist on particular compo and stand your ground and the deal doesn't get done. Our position is much worse than that . We had no option but to trade for a team that will have a go - my biggest gripe of 2012. Ticker, heart call it what you will, we have the softest team in the AFL by some way. Significant change was needed and we have it. Whether the changes will be good we will know after about 6 weeks of 2013 I reckon. I would be betting though that going to the footy will be a lot more enjoyable and competitive than it was this year.
  15. woo hoo.
  16. Gysberts swapped for Pedersen and a later draft pick according to The AGE.
  17. Blucher and Lynch deserve to go. And a review of the Scully deal is warranted as well given those two were involved up to their eyeballs
  18. Learn to kick and will be a good player. Difference between him and Morton is that he has a real dip. But unless he can hit a target it would have to be his last year.
  19. The quality of players over 25 is a real problem.
  20. What are Norf's picks?
  21. Rule 1 - When in a hole stop digging. Way to go Jay....
  22. You need to read a couple of the other threads. This was a troll exercise that caught Jay CLark...
  23. Three premiership players now? Dawes, Byrnes and Rodan...
  24. LOL I'll be saving this post for this time next year.
  25. Its not the club. I assume its his mates
