We criticize players very readily here and players themselves no doubt scrutinise themselves harshly. JT seems to be one of those that seems unsure if he 'belongs'. If he can learn to play without that burden and play a natural game his talent should come through, He has a great work ethic and effort is not his problem...

Great pick up for the club but it was time. Well done on a fine career that many of us could only dream about.. I hope he will be remembered as a good demon player and that he works wit the club in some capacity. Would hate to see him go back to the dogs

Jones is a warrior and a diehard demon. He deserves our respect and is pretty much one of 5 or 6 players on our list that can hold his head up high.

I agree but I see that as another reason why it shouldn't have been paid. Its not like the ball was in dispute and two players were running at it. Jones reaction was instinctinve and involuntary unlike a Lindsay Thomas slide to get the ball. Was incensed at the time and still think it was a shocker. Daniel Cross coped one of those a few weeks back but I think the ump had to pay it because he saw the ball and dived on it. Also in the context of 12 frees to 2 we were getting well and truly shafted and you will never convince me that umps to don't make home town decisions in Perth.

If you are imploring al supporters who are desperately unhappy with our clubs inability to compete in the first half of football four weeks running to give it away there wouldn't be many supporters left would there? I watch other teams and almost cry its so frustrating. They compete hard each week, they blood new young talent, they look halfway competent. We are a flipping basket case and we have a mesiah of a coach who all but admits he doesn't know what to do about it.
