UMPIRES - Some Stats
No idea. There was an aricle on Fox footy about it. It doesn' t mean anything of itself. It simply looks at the numbers. It doesn't claim there is bias or otherwise. Just presenting facts.

The 2021 All-Australian Team
I recall in 2000 when Daniher and everyone went gaga when Woey won the brownlow. I think it upset us that week and we were happy to be participating in a GF. We aren't there yet but I sense these boys are a lot more grounded and will park their exceptional awards and re-focus very quickly on the work to be done. Go Dees

FINALS: Week 01 2021 (NON MFC)
- AFLPA MVP 2021
So the players nominated Bowey and not Jordon? ( I assume Jordon was considered a 1st year player?) That says something about our man Bowser- Teague Sacked
I guess they should have never appointed a coach on his 'L PLates' Looking at you Chris Judd.- FINALS: QF vs Brisbane
He's still getting over the loss of OMac- FINALS: QF vs Brisbane
Yes but they haven't played any top sides. Its misleading. They were a high scoring side when they played us and we held them to 75 points - wth accurate kcking of 11g 9b We hit the post 4 times that game as well which would likely have changed the result significantly had normal statistical results occurred. So yes they can sore heavily from multiple avenues but there is a caveat.- Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
Not that I;d know but I looked the Mac Andrew highlights and there was nothing that excited me at all. He would be a speculative pick at best whereas Laurie is someone they gave up a first rounder to get. And if you listen to Jason Tayor, he and Bowie were the two best kicks in the draft from last year So there is zero chance they would give up Laurie for Andrew IMO.- Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
Didn't Gold Coast give pick 2 for Lachie Weller? Some footy dept's are on turps.- Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
You'd trade out Bailey Laurie? Our 2nd pick from last year? Far out there are some ridiculous things said on htis site- Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
We have Tomlinson.....- POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Geelong
It was his birthday apparently....- CHANGES: QF vs Brisbane
I understand what you are saying Its clear last week that we went with a plan for May on Hawkins, Petty on Cameron and Smith on Rohan. Against West Coast Melksham came in to play on McGovern- POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Geelong
He left without paying the c$350k balance of his $2.5m 'donation' He dobbed us into the AFL for salary cap rorting. The League proceeded to fine the club $600,000 (of which $250,000 was suspended), and the club lost its 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks at the national draft for two years. 6 players received tax audits People wonder why Melbourne had no decent players in the 26-30 yo category during our prolonged poor period - there's your reason. Also why we have to appoint the youngest ever Captain and Jack Grimes as we have no senior players to speak of. As far as I am concerned Gutnick can fall off the face of the earth never to be seen or heard of again.- CHANGES: QF vs Brisbane
Agree with last line but I think we have also selected for oppo teams as well. They brought in Melk to play defensive fwd on McGovern. They brought in Smith to play on Rohan Rich was pressured by Kosi last time, Bowie could take Bailey. No Hipwood is a bonus. Bris like to maintain possession in their defnce (like Geelong) and bring the ball out slowly (ie no turnovers). Then they are happy to go down the line and let their talls contest in the air. With their talls playing higher up the ground they get a lot of running goals out the back. They are a high scoring side with lots of different goalkickers but haven't played the best teams in the last 8 rounds. I think we'll go well.- Three years makes a difference
2018 we belted a few sides and played a manic 'get the ball i50' game. But we were one of the easiest sides to score against. We often got beaten out the back, sides would push us into the contest and feed off us on the outside. And when the ball went into our d50 we were 17th in one on ones with Frost and OMac. Blindly obvious we have to get ourselves some quality defenders (no matter how many nuffies here tried to defend OMac and Frost). We got em at a high cost (that looks good value now) and we are a vastly different team. Now our scores come mainly from turnover and defence rather than contest. And we are number 1 for tackles i50. We are very hard to score against. That wins finals.- FINALS: QF vs Brisbane
Brisbane's last 8 games rd 16 Beat adelaide 52pts rd 17 lost to St K 32 points rd 18 Lost to Rich 20pts rd 19 beat Gold Coast 49pts rd 20 Lost to Hawks 12pts rd 21 Beat Freo 64pts rd 22 Beat Pies 85 pts rd 23 Beat West Coast 38 pts They've beaten up a few sides, had 3 losses and played no one in the 8 Not a scary proposition.- THE RISING OF THE DEMONS
28 secs in unbvelievable throw from Cunnington - right in front of the ump- Max is the Tossing King
The stars are aligned. Go with the flow.- How I feel about other supporters who want to jump on our journey
Another cringeworthy thread. Just delete it FFS We all should want the rest of the world to be on our bandwagon- Spargo a ducker?
