Training Ground?
Not sure about the phases yet mate. If I hear anything I’ll pass on here if / when I can. Would suspect it’s likely, but that’s entirely my judgement.

Matt Owies
Think that’s a bit of a misnomer based on stats. Average frees for per game below; K Pickett - 0.6 per game Owies - 0.8 per game Ginnivan - 1.1 per game

Training Ground?
Inability to obtain both Federal and State funding has been / is an issue as well. Final costs far closer to the $120million mark, Dees have to come up with 25%. Fundraising initiatives to be announced soon. Expect another Debt Demolition / Foundation Legend and Heroes event to be run.

Training Ground?
She was told not to attend the announcement, though this was prior to her departure so infer from that what you will. It’s well documented that Roffey had not been a part of the negotiations for some time.

Not liking reporting doesn't make it libellous, unless your comfortable with the club acting as a vexatious litigant.

Hawks social media has done really, really well. From memory they were one of the pioneers of really getting on platforms and embracing it in that late 2000s/early 2010s period when the platform derived content was really burgeoning. When I was at uni in '09, from memory they were the first to have to have a full time social-media (distinct from 'media') team employed in house; that was something we lacked for years and pretty sure we only had a couple employed in contemporary times. I'm not even sure if we have a full-time social media department, though I'm sure someone on here will know this answer to this.

Kate Roffey Steps Down
Roffey hasn’t been involved in the current project for a solid period of time. It’s u likely to have any detrimental impact.

Kate Roffey Steps Down
Bizarre, many posters that lambast others for attributing apportioned ‘blame’ to Roffey for the issues and shortcomings displayed in the media, don’t seem to have any issue crediting her with unchecked praise for our success.

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
I haven't had a crack at a single person, not sure why this was directed at me tbh.

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
Don’t disagree with your points at all. Was more just high-lighting that at the trade table we’ve historically been prepared to make some very big calls (granted, I agree that all three were for very different reasons though and with varying returns). Also clarifying my comments around it be not all surprising we’re in reference to the disposition of us, as a club, at the trade table - not an expectation it will occur.

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
To be fair, we’ve shown that we’re prepared to move players on even when they’re ’high profile’, if we did trade Oliver I don’t think it would be extremely surprising (i.e., Watts, Hogan, Grundy). Regarding the second point, what has been posted isn’t disparaging; and let’s not use a sliding scope argument in an effort to dictate behaviour. I’m not suggesting the forum should turn into an unmitigated free-for-all, but this is so far from something that needs to be curtailed or censored.

Quoting myself as it does seem this situation has legs. Might need to keep a watching brief on this situation…

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
Clarry has put in a HUGE amount of work and has categorically bought into the club. His commitment to change, self-improvement and betterment is absolutely genuine. Clarry has had a huge amount of resources expended on him, which has been seen as a mutual commitment from both club and player alike. I can understand that players are regularly discussed, but I really hope this hasn’t (doesn’t) damage the relationship and trust that has improved tenfold, between Oliver and the club.

“Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.”- 2025 Team Round 1
Noting the passage of time, recent performances and the gaps that were evidence this year (even acknowledging injuries), I think that side is a fair way off competing for a top 8 position. Bolded names indicate individuals I have concerns with and suspect their form may slip even further next season. NB: - Petty's selection is in reference to him playing forward, I can't see him delivering any further of substance down forward. - May has been a fantastic servant and was instrumental in our flag, as well as during 2022 and most of 2023. However, there were numerous times this season where he was beaten in contests that you'd previously bank him to win. Looks to have lost a step; will be 33 prior to the start of next season. I still see him as a valuable commodity, but can't see him returning to the form of 21/22.- KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
Would suspect it’s in reference to kinship, seems like it’s just been thrown in as an afterthought though.- Ryan Angwin

I’ll be honest mate, I really don’t know much about him. Would say there’s far more knowledgeable people on here that could provide an answer on that.- Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread
There will likely be some distance between this and the incoming, but she’s now facing unrelenting pressure to step down. Can confirm that Steven Smith has been tapped on the shoulder. - Jake Stringer
