  1. On Friday 10th Dec there is a training session at Casey. It is also a bit of a Christmas Party. There is a BBQ and some stuff for kids. I believe that even Santa will be there!! They did the same last year and it was pretty good. Good chance to see the players for those that live down this way. Demons Christmas Party
  2. First call. Great work.
  3. :) :) :) What number is he going to get. I need to prepare my duffel coat. Very happy to get the official news. Go the Jacks!!
  4. Jeremy Howe Height: 192cm Weight: 85kg DOB: 29/06/90 Club: Dodges Ferry/Hobart Tigers (Tas) Bio: An athletic full-forward who loves to take a screaming mark. Has a huge leap and acquired skills on both sides of his body. Reads the play well and has good running ability.
  5. Lucas Cook Age: 18 Position: Tall Forward History: Lucas Cook is a 194cm and 82kg AFL- AIS Graduate, who is an extremely agile key forward prospect with a strong lead and the ability to take contested pack marks. He additionally is a good reader of the ball when it is in the air, has a strong overhead mark and is also very good when the ball on the ground. In Vic Countrys first game in the Under 18 Championships Cook kicked 5 goals (including 3 in three minutes) and also took 5 contested marks and collected 20 disposals. In early July, Cook was a part of Vic Countrys first national Under 18 championship win in seven years and impressed AFL recruiters so much he was named in the Under 18 All-Australian Team. In 2008 and 2009 Cook played for the North Ballarat Rebels in the TAC Cup and played in 20 matches and kicked a total of 19 goals. Cook is currently into his third season with North Ballarat and after 7 matches has scored 18.5 (an average of 3 goals per game) from 29 marks.
  6. If no one gets it, then no one will win the prize.
  7. 12. Tom Lynch. ( Jack Darling if Lynch gone) 33. Josh Walker I dont really have any idea, but I do hope Lynch gets through to us. I dont think we will take Heppell. Go Dee's!!
  8. Fair point. Dont want to give him a spot on our list. But he definately deserves a thread of his own.
  9. Anthony would also have Miller for age. Much more room for improvement. Miller has probably already peaked.
  10. Scully will be huge. Will improve further to become one of the best mids in the comp. We will be drooling for the entire season, and there will be talk of brownlow form. I expect that he wont win it though. Top 5 finish, but he will claim it in 2012 to go alongside his premiership medal.
  11. Whoever picks him up. I just hope that Cloke and Dawes have a crap year and he has a blinder. Just to [censored] off Collingwood. That would be a great story.
  12. Sounds a bit like the Lone Ranger.... "Who was that man" and then he rides off into the distance to never be seen again. Only the legend remains. B)
  13. Cheers. Great footage. Part 3 the best. Todd Viney, Brett Lovett, Jimmy. What memories. I am getting all emotional.
  14. One of the best games I went to. Melb V Coll at 'G'. Cant remember the year but it was about 55000 in half a ground. The Southern stand was being built. The Jacko V Daicos show. I think Daicos beat him by 1. Maybe 6 to 5. Cant even remember who won, but it is an early memory that I still remember as awsome. Someone surely has a better memory than me with the details.
  15. Q. If by chance I can get this tv coverage from this chinese station, how much will watching the game effect my monthly download limit? I have never watched tv via internet before, so im a bit uninformed in this department.
  16. USELESS INFORMATION: In the paper this week, it was reported that "Jack" is currently the most common name for babies.
  17. He could suprise to. Would not of rated junior as a great captain before he was, and I think he was definately inspirational. And you could probably say the same for Neitz. Sometimes the captaincy can bring out the best in a player. That is why I feel that any one of Green Davey or Maloney could be given the captaincy. Who knows, it could turn them into something even better. Only time will tell.
  18. I would not consider any of these players, (Melb or Coll) as elite. I would say Pendlebury has the most potential at pies. I still do not rate Swan as elite, even though he is a great player. I would consider Sylvia, Frawley and Grimes as our closest thing to, and could become. Watts, Scully, have potential also but still to early to say. We do have a number of players with good potential to become elite.
  19. I would think probably Bruce for that game.
  20. Would like to see Flash. Think it will be Green. Would also consider Rivers. He could be a smokey.
  21. That dancing spiderman could not have summed up the news any better. I think I might do the same. Great work. :)
  22. This is truly a great day.
  23. I would have doubts about that. Bailey is a fan of Rivers, and his leadership.
  24. Fine points, with just one slight error. In chess the white usually go first. But maybe it can just be put down to new GC rules.
