I agree Bub. It would be very disappointing to have to put Aussie on ice, especially after his performance against Freo, but is it really the end of the world if we do have to? If he continues his senior form and is able to keep it up at Sandy, then he will shore up his position on the senior list next year and there won't be a problem. IMO it's very important to start getting games (at Sandy) in to Grimes, and I really doubt they're going to block Neitz from playing in his last year. What damage would be done if Aussie went back on the rookie list?

The biggest problem with Robbo is that when we haven't got the ball he is rotten. I didn't see anything different yesterday, but I won't criticise as he was instrumental in the win, and quite frankly, I don't want to do anything at all to take the gloss off it.

Jones was tagged out of it by Crowley, who IMO was one of their best players. He's now had a very hard tag and struggled with it. He'll learn. Not that surprising that the others down back didn't get a lot of it. We had control of the ball for the majority of the second half.

It actually makes me a bit sad seeing Farmer these days (no longer appropriate to call him Wiz IMO). All the talent has washed away and all that is left is an angry, bitter man. Oh well. Freo's problem now.

Agree Rhino. Pavlich kept them alive single handedly in the second half. He is a genuine superstar, and I'd give my left nut to have him in our side. Graz, it may not have been a premiership, but it sure felt like it to me. I'm still buzzing now.

Moloney had the wrong idea in the first quarter and got the biggest baking of all time for it. Even on TV I saw Bailey point to Moloney, hold up two fingers and say "two times", which by my count was the number of consecutive times he kicked it straight to a Freo player at half forward.

I'm closer to your age than H's and Rhino's, but I agree with them. He's shown some promise and has done some nice things, but so far I'm not convinced either. I won't write him off yet, haven't seen enough, but so far I'm reserving judgement.

If I had to pick one game to tip us legitimately, it'd be this one. Teams hardly ever go whole years without winning, so odds are we'll win eventually, and this game is very winnable. I do not rate Freo at all. I reckon they're a one man band with Pav at the moment.

I don't agree with him at all. I reckon we only notice the bad Cam Bruce posessions because the ones that are bad are REALLY bad, and it taints our view of how he plays. If Cam Bruce got 40 possessions I'd wager that at least 30 of them were to the team's benefit. If Sylvia only got 15 on the same day, it wouldn't be too hard to see who was of more benefit to the team then.
