Hypothetically, if the Demons won the Premiership in 2019 I would cry tears of joy like the rest of us here. I have thought about painting myself red and blue and running around naked...but it's not worth getting arrested for. Probably get drunk and go to the celebrations the next day. I would definitely want a photo of me and my Dad with the Demon's newest Premiership cup.

My questions to Peter Jackson would be... 1) Besides winning games of football, what does the Melbourne Football Club need to do continue to become financially successful? 2) What advice would you give to Gary Pert when he takes over the reigns as CEO of the Melbourne Football Club?

Looks like Freo think Rory Lobb from GWS is the magical answer to their forward line I guess? ? Personally, I'm glad Jesse Hogan will be staying as Freo don't want him. I hope Jesse Hogan knows that we all want him to stay and win a Premiership with the Demons.

Apparently Ron Walker is a Demons supporter and has been number 1# ticket holder a few times too?

If he is big and tall and strong then I think it would be worth having a look at him? I guess we'll see if he tries out with the Sandringham Dragons or Oakleigh Chargers and is serious about playing AFL. It would be great to see a new Lyon at the Demons. ☺ Let's hope he isn't as grumpy as his old man though!? ??? In the end, it is up to any individual (son of a gun or not) if they have the skill, desire and motivation to play AFL.

Didn’t Garry Lyon have about 3 or 4 sons? Good news if at least one of them ends up playing for the Demons.

Are people still donating money to the MFC via Debt Demolition? I hope they are? I think the website should continue going until we wipe out ALL the debt that the Melbourne Football Club owe completely! In many ways we could easily do this and I'm sure those at the MFC will know this and will keep it going for as long as it takes. If we have raised almost $3.1 million dollars already then I'm sure that we can continue to have fundraisers at the MFC. Perhaps the MFC should even consider doing a bit of fundraising at the Melbourne Football Club players Best & Fairest night?

I hope Garry Lyon reminds people on the Footy Show tonight about the Demon Debt Demolition website. Luckily, I get my tax return next week so I'll be able to donate a bit of money too!
