  1. Interesting to note that Pendlebury has stated he wants to be a one club player and remain at Collingwood. He did however, mention that he would sign a contract later in the season once the Collective Bargain Agreement was all sorted out. That's all we need Tom to declare this morning. He wants to stay but he's waiting til the time is right to sign a contract. Nothing more and hopefully nothing less.
  2. Great topic HT. About time we started talking some footy. Premiers for '11: St.Kilda Most Goals for Demons: Brad Green - 46 Leading Goalkicker in AFL: Steve Johnson - 58 (I think gone are the days of the powerhouse FF kicking close to 100 goals) Final Ladder position: 8th Wins: 12 Most tackles: Jordie McKenzie Most marks: Jared Rivers Most handballs: Jack Trengove Most kicks: Tom Scully Most 1%'s: Col Sylvia Best first year player: Jeremy Howe Bluey: Col Sylvia Biggest crowd: 87,000 - First Elimination Final v Carlton Worst Journo: Craig Hutchison Best Journo: Matt Burgan?? Biggest news story: "Scully stays true blue (and red)......." Quote of the season: "I just enjoy sitting on heads....." Liam Jurrah
  3. I totally agree with you to a certain extent, but you can't win premierships at ANZ? I dont think you'll be able to at GWS either....
  4. I agree. If he had a press conference to basically re-read his management's original statement, the club wouldn't bother. Something new will be said.
  5. It will be Todd Viney, but I'm happy with Dean Bailey at the moment.
  6. And Mark Robinson has believed from the beginning that Scully would stay - hopefully Friday will put us all at ease.
  7. Spot on. Seems to be in the Brock McLean mould where he could get enough of the ball in-and-under, but too slow to do anything else and always trying to bust through tackles and getting caught. His disposal is nothing short of ordinary where 99% of the time, it seems to go higher than it does longer?!
  8. I've thought the same for a while - for all teams. Makes it a lot easier and gets rid of all the stupid white jumpers! Fair enough for the likes of sydney, freo, carlton, collingwood etc where their secondary colour is white, but would like to see our away strip being red again. Anyway, all been done to death already!
  9. Was about to say a similar thing. Am excited to see a lot more of Howe.
  10. Do you have a MFC membership Ron? Maybe that's a better place to put your money and to give us the leg up you talk about?! The AFL will look after their little investments, so don't think by giving 9or not giving) GWS a few hundred bucks will make any difference in the slightest.
  11. Thanks mate - appreciate it. Interesting to see (not surprisingly) that we're a fair way ahead again this year.
  12. Do you have a comparison to this time last year HT?
  13. I've posted a few times on this topic agreeing with certain things, but this is the best written and most logical one yet. Great read and all makes sense.
  14. You've said it all in the shortest post on this debacle. Spot on...
  15. I've got the heritage MFC on the inside of my wrist!? I wanted something that was traditional and not a logo that would out-date or change etc. Hoping to add a premiership year underneath it very soon.
  16. It's a diagram that looks like it's hand drawn.....i wouldnt worry too much about specifics just yet!
  17. Get used to the look of that jumper, because all the new premiership memorabilia will feature the boys wearing it!
