  1. Yeah, me at the back right there. normally we work with anything from 5 to 20, those in this photo are a good bunch.
  2. That was probably before meeting with us, I work with 15-21 year olds
  3. Was surprised to learn he probably has the best leap on the team. Also Jeff has organised all the players boots to have indigenous artwork on them this round, which should look great
  4. Most likely, Angus talked about the social work that they do. they do it well.
  5. I am working with disadvantaged indigenous youth here in Alice Springs and had sent an invite to the club to see if any players could come and chat with them. It was a late invite, yet the club found the time to spend just over an hour with these kids. Angus Brayshaw and Liam Hullet came out, sat down and talked with these kids about a range of issues. Despite them probably not seeing it, it was a great thrill for these kids. Liam and Angus were very well spoken and generous with their time. As I will write to the club, I can't thank them enough. They gave these kids a real thrill and by sharing their stories they have helped to reinforce a lot of the work that has been and will continue to be done to help these disengaged youth.
  6. There isn't a big conspiracy, they took the wrong option a few times. They will learn from it
  7. You are correct about the runners IMO. as for Alice being bloody hot and humid, stick to the footy....
  8. Next week is your classic 8 point game. if we beat Port, we should put a gap of 8 points between us and the rest of the competition.
  9. We play in Alice. personally, I am hoping that Trenners gets a game, would love nothing more than being able to see his return
  10. What I would like to see them investigate, unless they showed it and I missed it, was how Petracca had his goal overturned. The footage they showed said nothing, the commentary said if the get the definitive evidence they will show it, I never saw it...
  11. Bit rich to say he gets away with it every week when it was his debut
  12. Disgraceful post doc. it may encourage people to drink to the point of throwing up. I think you should use the edit function and change this. I AM OUTRAGED
  13. I used to know a player who, if memory serves me correct, broke his jaw - he saw Lenny Hayes out at a nightclub that night and Lenny came up to him and congratulated him. happened about a decade ago
  14. By years end: 1. Hogan 2. Petracca 3. Oliver 4. Brayshaw 5. Heeney
  15. Every time a thread like this pops up we get belted the next game and the sky is quickly falling
  16. While I agree with what you say here Mono, it should be remembered that the same point could be made about the 'Dogs last year. Early on, they were up and down and lost to us, a game they would have expected to win. Yet no-one would argue that they didn't deserve to make the finals last year,
  17. Have heard the other guy is going into hospital tomorrow for hip replacement surgery.
  18. We have had a reasonable run with the umps, we have often got the rough end of the stick in the first half only to have the stats magically equalise in the second. I would not consider what we have seen this year a good run with the umps. that said, I thought we had a very good run with the umps yesterday (without having looked at any stats).
  19. Nothing in it.
  20. That every stadium that hosts more than one AFL game does not have goal line technology is a classic example of why I have little but contempt for the jokers that run our game
  21. They are a better team than us ATM, but I am backing us to cause an upset. Tough game tonight, first game at the G for them, where we beat them around this time last year
  22. Ditto. just very glad it is at the MCG
  23. One of the most one sided umpiring display I have seen since a certain game out west
