GAMEDAY: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
Rod Grinter Riot Squad replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Geez the dogs are brilliant at the quick handball, but they really do get away with a few throws. It’s like the umpires are scared to call it due to how good they do handball -
They also sook when they win!

AFL need to look into Rhys Mathieson!
Rod Grinter Riot Squad replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
Nobody should look at this [censored], it harms your eyes -
Oh no a 2 hour flight. Toughen up princess, the game in Alice is brilliant
-
I know the umpiring has been one sided, but I can’t recall a coach whining about it at half time like Hardwick, what a little [censored]

Bit annoyed there are no kids versions available

Why Oliver is More Dangerous Than You Think
Rod Grinter Riot Squad replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Love this kid. Funny though, while his kicking has improved, his goal kicking goes backwards. My only knock on him previously was he seemed to be lazy when the opposition had the ball, but this is no longer the case (same with Bradshaw), he is on track to being our best mid since Tulip, possibly better (though I only saw the second half of his career). This team can be anything, backs like Salem, Lever, Hunt, May and Rivers, wings in Lingers and Gus, mids in Trac, Clarry and Viney, forwards in TMac, Brown, Weideman, ANB Spargo and Kossie, Jackson replacing one, led by Gawn, I expect the drought to break with a 50s like flood! -
The most wins/highest ladder position
Rod Grinter Riot Squad replied to Anti-Saint's topic in Melbourne Demons
We have finished on top, just not in a 22 game season -
Nice, thought his contract finished this year
-
Free agent, we would get compensation though.
-
Game going perfectly for us with the Dogs and Port, though two sitters missed by the dogs.
-
Don’t get me wrong, I love Dogga, in the relief ruck role Tom or Sam can’t match him, but I think Sam will do better with the time he gets as a forward
-
Dogga has been playing as a forward, back up ruck, a role both TMac and Weideman have played before, I think Sam does it better, a no brainer for me, Weeds in!

Goody's five big changes of 2021
Rod Grinter Riot Squad replied to Deespicable's topic in Melbourne Demons
Old, we spared many times on ‘ology, but I always respected your opinion and considered you one of the more knowledgeable posters, this post affirms why. Credit to Nasher and others, for some wonderful posts in a thread I almost didn’t open a second time, -
Jack Watts Back in the Red & Blue
Rod Grinter Riot Squad replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I will always have a soft foot for Jack as he was so wonderful with kids, I often took my daughter to training 7 years ago and he was just brilliant in his interaction with her and a few years later when we had moved to Alice Springs he was also fantastic with my son, the kids loved him.- 35 replies

You remember correct. We almost came to blows, Gandalf (aka Satirycon) physically restrained us from going to car park, Who was a low life dog!!

I posted there as Korean Demon, had a justifiable hatred of Dr Who, feeling was mutual and his first act on getting the keys to the site was to ban me, went to new site, had a debate with the owner about something and found myself locked out. Always loved Land, but miss the old ‘ology

Rod Grinter Riot Squad replied to goodwindees's topic in Melbourne Demons
I expressed frustration at the offer being leaked, bit different than questioning your integrity. -
Bayley Fritsch cleared of striking
Rod Grinter Riot Squad replied to McQueen's topic in Melbourne Demons
My comment was purely a joke, I have given up long ago on getting any consistency from the MRO and don’t let it upset me anymore -

Do we lack midfield depth?
Rod Grinter Riot Squad replied to leave it to deever's topic in Melbourne Demons
I am happy with our depth, that said, take out one of your best mids, replace him with depth, the midfield is obviously going to be weaker
