    I took advantage of the opportunity to convey a message to the Membership people. I simply told them that if the club appoints another apprentice type assistant as coach to simply cancel my membership and to convey this sentiment to whomever should hear it. sick to death of this clubs amateurism

    the abletts and judds of this world dont worry so much over the role when it comes to exhibiting basic footy nous. Granted JW isn that type of role. If I had to describe Watts with one word it would be "waiting" ....whether its for some cerebal instruction or waiting for someone to lead, or indeed someone to coach Hes always f'n waiting He needs to, as Kennedy would suggest, just DO. Let other events evolve from that. He HAS all the abilites and skills to impact a game...everything except the desire to do so. Maybe thats in the box of magical fixes that he's also 'waiting' on.. who knows .

    Hird ..light years ahead of Jackie. Watts has ALL the skills ...for him its all between the ears stuff. Jimmy H , for anything else he was/is , exhibited brilliance on the filed in terms of KNOWING what to do.. Jack seems all at sea by comparison. Pendles is an interesting comparison actually.     This may go to the core of the problem will little Jackie. I would have thought a decent player would just KNOW to do that. He seems labored with the problem of finding impetus at these junctures. Just do it Jack.. simples

    What a wonderful communication tool club surveys are. Allows one to convey all sorts of info back to the club and I was civil but curt wonder if any of the negative stuff ever gets to where it ought ?? lol

    They at least will do the nasty stuff required to 'grow" and develop. And some here want to pick up their 'has beens" Some need to think these things through. If some of these players arent good enough to get them across the line why on earth should we look to get them..!! Just so they can fail to get US across the line too ??

    JR I feel that very invigoration will be provided by such folk of similar ilk as you propose, but at the appropriate level of assistants.

    lol JR I understand the enthusiasm of you suggestion but Id like to temper it with the notion that theres no proven link of automatic ability for a decent assistant to morph into a better than fair senior coach. We've seen such an idea fail right before our eyes. Simpson and Brown could well be decent blokes, better than good footballers etc etc. Its even possible they might one day be good coaches ( at senior level ) however I dont want to take that chance, not again, not now. I want someone and indeed the team NEEDS someone who is proven.....I'll repeat PROVEN at this level at this job. We need to cease being some sort of coaching incubator for aspirants.. We have a job vacancy to fill..Only experienced need apply. Thats right isnt it PJ ?

    prey tell..why so. Not at the cost of justice. Justice knows no haste or clouding urgency. Let it take what it takes for the truth and its consequences to manifest. The AFL read Vlad wants haste. ASADA may also for it seems inept. Cant have any failings illuminated can we ?? stuff them all.
